I'm so glad that I purchased this for our 7 month old Lab(rador Retriever). Olivia is a real chewer and very hard on toys. She absolutely loves this and it occupies her for hours. She carries it with her from time to time and then lays down and chews. I can't believe that it has made it 2 weeks so far and it hardly shows any wear. I will order another one for our other 7 month old.....you know how they always want what the other one has....hahaha.
We have a 4 month old lab, collie, Aussie mix. I’ve bought him everything from stuffed toys to tug toys to balls too chew toys. He has never reacted to a toy like this one! While I do chores around the house he drags it around with him and gets super excited when it accidentally gets flung around the room, it’s pretty dense but I guess he like the way it bounces! (My poor floors). I highly recommend! He’s a light chewer as his adult teeth are only just now starting to come in, and we bought his a large, he has smaller bones but he lost interest quickly in those, so I think bigger is better!
Benebones have become our go-to for several years now. Our Corgis instantly destroy anything that is remotely soft, including the chew bones made with bamboo or hard rubber. Other durable chew toys don't seem to appeal to our Corgis. They chew the Benebones regularly and they last a good long time.
Our Abby, a 98lb Lab/Dane mix loves these. I get her the giant size and they last a few months. These are all she ever chews on in the house. She also has one for when she is outside. The one in the photo is 3 months old, and she chews it a lot.
Bought a medium for my 4 mo old Cavalier and its Huge! He does not like it and chews on everything else so gave it to my 100 lb Black mouth cur due to its size and she turned here nose up at it too.... They must have missed this one on beacon flavor! Now I have a 2 lb paper weight. !0 dollars thrown away!!!!
Bailey likes bacon and chews the heck out of hard knuckles and knee caps but won't touch this. I'm not sure why because he loves to naw on almost anything. He just ignores this. Maybe it's too hard and slick. I'm not sure but I thought he'd love it. Oh well.
I am always on the lookout for something for my 65lb power chewing rescue. I have purchased this multiple times to everyone's satisfaction. It does not have any odor but is apparently quite flavorful. The shape makes it satisfying to hold by both a big and small (12lb) dog.
This is one product that has stood up very well to both our large puppies chewing. They are great to give them when I need to step away to do some chores to keep them occupied and they last a good amount of time before I have had to replace. One of our puppies will eat anything that he shouldn’t, so it’s great that these do not break down/pieces don’t break off and you don’t need to worry they’ll eat or swallow something they shouldn’t.
My golden retriever LOVES these - there is no other toy or chew that keeps her occupied as well for as long. Unfortunately she chews them down to the point the manufacturer recommends they be taken away within just a few days, especially since she tends to chew one end more than the others.
My King Charles Ivy weighs in at around ten pounds, but knows how to throw her weight around. Thought I had ordered the small version of this bone but ended up with the large version. It is literally the size of her head, She loves it. Takes it to bed with her to chew on just before bed and then carries it around the house during the day. This Benebone is so tough it lasts a long, long time. It must have just enough flavor to keep the dog interested. No muss from this chew bone. Has to be good for their teeth, Highly recommend! I am no obstetrician, but I played one on TV and I would recommend the Benebone for children who are teething.
