Stackable design for efficiency, Ideal for storing bird seed and pet food
I live in a house with many people and five dogs in total, ranging from puppy to senior. That means a lot of different dog foods. This container is awesome because it's easy to store in a few different areas and we can stack them. ONLY stack two high though! The only thing I wish is that they were a little more sturdy to stack more than two. Still, it's exactly what we need. Also, if you have a slightly sneaky dog there's a little spot to put a small lock so they can't nudge it open. Very determined dogs could still break it so if yours is one of those I'd recommend putting this in a closet.
Sturdy, Easy open/close

They are sturdy except you can only stack two high, not 3, otherwise the bottom one caves from the weight...at least the 50# ones. I had to build a shelf to stack 3-high b/c I feed cats, dogs & birds.
I like the easy open/close...much better than the screw on lids which never line up. So glad I bought these! And $20 per is super reasonable.
Absolutely terrible product

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They are unstable when stacked, the bottom container bent when the second container was stacked on it, and they are NOT airtight. I just had to throw away 65 pounds of pet food because it was full of flies!!! Do not buy these. It will cost you more than the cost of the containers.

They say they're stackable. I stacked one on top of the other one filled it with dog food and the one on the bottom collapse because the plastic is so thin. So now I'm out $25 . Pretty low quality stay away

The containers is big and holds a 50lb bag of food but I was shocked at how thin the plastic is. If they are not stacked perfect then the container under it collapses.
Low Cost Food Storage Option

Somehow I thought they were bigger when I ordered them, but that's probably my fault on getting the measurements wrong. Our cat is a jerk who loves tearing holes in the food bags if the slightest opportunity comes up. So far these are excellent deterrants. If he gets to a point (which I'm sure will happen) where he decides to learn how to open the doors, there is a handy little place for a lock. I love how their stackable design freed up the floor space in our closet. They are a little unweildy when first filling with food.

This was an excellent purchase for the price. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Thanks Chewy!
Not Too Happy

So, these supposed "stackables" are kinda crap...haven't had them for that long and the bottom stackable is bent, apparently from the weight of the other one? It's so bent that the one stacked on top doesn't stay on properly. These are too expensive to have to replace every couple months...:(
I really like them

I have the puppy food in one and the adult food in the other. I even store the bowls, scoops and vitamins inside. I don't actually have them stacked because I'm using them to block off an area I don't want the dogs going, but I did have them stacked before and as long as there's enough weight in them, it works great!
Nice product but...

We have had a rat problem and bought this to replace the other brand-new dog food container I had just purchased. This one was thicker and more sturdy, but the next morning I saw that that rats had infiltrated this one too. If you don’t have a rodent issue, it is awesome. I’m trying stainless steel next time!
