I was excited to try this with my old man kitty. He's pretty much over the usual mousies, balls, crinkle toys, etc. He's seen it all and it's hard to find anything that impresses him anymore. I tried using this with him and it is so stiff it barely works. He looked at it and scoffed as of it were only meant for peasants. This toy doesn't work as advertised and is basically useless.
Finally, a toy he likes! This toy wobbles on its ball side, causing the movement of the furry tail side. The swirly movement is likely to get any cat's attention. Seems to be well made; I expect long lasting fun.
You turn the cup inside out and put it on the floor. It pops up in the air.
This is definitely my little girl's new favorite toy. She will not stop playing with it. When it rolls across the floor, it looks like a live little critter running. Really amazing how real it looks. She loves it so much I bought a bunch more to share with my friends with cats.Every cat on the planet should have one.
Both my cats and dog love this little toy. I had to buy a second one.
This toy does not do anything, including the jumping behavior it advertises. The rubber is too rigid to pop as advertised. My cats like the tail for some reason, but it's a pretty lame toy.
Toy doesn’t jump as advertised the plastic is too thick, but my cat still LOVES chasing the tail
Honestly, I enjoy this toy more than my cat does. It’s so fun! She has a passing interest in it—which is weird because she LOVES silly worms. I think she’s still afraid of the sudden sound and movement when it pops, but after she gets over that, I bet she’ll enjoy it just as much as I do! If your cat likes jumping, this is a great choice because it can pop really high and really far. If your cat is more of a bush cat like mine, try rolling it around instead/making it not pop as high :)
my cat played with it now i cant find it where he hide it
My cat Newman is obsessed with these worms and plays fetch obsessively with it, to the point where we have to hide it at night or he will drop it on our heads every ten minutes. Only downside is that he tears through them pretty fast, but that’s also from constant use. We go through one a month, but it’s well worth the entertainment for both us and our kitty
