A Waste of Money
I had high hopes for this XL bed, as my 57 lb. dog loves a big, round bed. However, she hates this bed. The bolster all of the way around is very firm, with a tiny depressed area in the center. The bolster sides will not “squish” down, and my dog was trying to lie down in the center but the area was too small so she tried to prop up on the bolster sides but gave up. I sat on the bed myself, and the center sank flat on the floor so felt very hard. I decided I would add some filling to the center. I thought I would never get the zipper undone as the bed “fur” kept catching. To my shock, when I got it open, there was a massive bolster “snake” doubled up in a “channel” made from rope ties with big knots, and the center cushioning was only a small, flat 12 x 12 inch throw pillow! No wonder my dog could not lie on the bottom of the bed! She cannot fit on a 12 x 12 pillow! Also, I looked on the manufacturer’s web site, and every larger dog pictured is sitting in the middle of the bed, I guess because they are unable to lie down. The cover itself is very cheap, shedding fake fur, and the inside has loose white fibers sticking out everywhere. Definitely a huge waste of money.

important comments for future buyers ..
I was super excited to get this bed in, as I did hours of research to find my curler a cozy donut bed. We have three dogs, so we have been through quite a few beds over the years. Here are my comments about the bed: I got the size large for my boxer mix. it is appropriate size diameter wise, in the middle where the dog actually lays, but it is massive due to how overly puffy the sides are. It takes up a ton of space and looks huge in our living room. It is so big that it becomes an eye sore. The sides have a fill that does not scrunch down as it should, it just stays round like a pool tube, yet the middle where the dogs actually lay is basically on the floor. I think they can work on the fill flexibility and add some to the center. I actually added some memory foam to the center since it came with just a small and flat low quality pillow. I wanted it to be clean and free of factory chemicals etc, so i washed the cover as soon as I received it. The fur completely matted down and even matted over the zipper, i has to cut down the zipper to open it again. fyi.. Im an outdoor apparel designer, so anything fleece sherpa faux fur is my specialty. I have never seen this happen with one wash in all 16 years of working with this type of fabric. The company needs to find a new fabric supplier ASAP. It looks old and ratty. it just washed horribly. I added a picture of my XL Paws Dog Bed with similar fabric that I have washed dozens of times, even dried it with normal heat, and the fabric still looks like new. This other bed was on sale for less money and is a superior bed that looks so much better than this donut bed. I hate to leave a negative review, I never even review anything, ever, but I felt like I had to let others know what they are buying.

I bought the x-large for my greyhound and she loves it. It’s larger than I thought it would be but there’s no way I could send it back. Can hardly get the lazy hound out of it. Wonderful for Anxious Dogs
Everyone of my dogs and foster dogs love this bed. I have two of them and both get a ton of use in my household. This bed is worth every penny and helps even my most anxious dogs feel relaxed and safe.
Perfect Dog Bed!
My lab mix is getting up there in years and has some hip and joint issues. Laying on anything for too long hurts her hips, except for this bed. We've had it for a few years now, it's flattened a bit with her using it all the time, but it still it fluffy! She LOVES it! She gets so cozy. And when she's having a hard time getting up, at least the fluffy part cushions her fall for her. It unzips all the way around so we can easily wash it, and it's super soft like when we first got it! The inside is a little worn down, but again, we've had it for quite some time and she lays in it all the time. Amazing bed, will be buying again!
Do not buy this dog bed
This item had great reviews and has been nothing but a disappointment. Not because my dogs don't like it, but because it is so poorly made that the faux fur has been shedding since it was taken out of the box. I am washing now, but when I took the cover off, I discovered the inside covered in the 'hair' and some odd wool tyes to keep the center pillow in place. Worse than all that is holes in both bolsters. The zipper is difficult to undo because of the faux hair that gets in the way of the teeth.

Very nice bed, well made and plush. I would purchase again. I just have to see how it holds up after a couple washes.
