This seems like a totally different product than what we used to get, these smell WAY worse and they crumble. My dog used to be able to chew on these for almost an hour without making much of a dent in these, and now he can eat through a whole one in 20 minutes if we are not paying attention. He can just bite off big chunks. Very disappointed and will not be purchasing again. Sad because these used to be so great.
We have been buying these sticks for a long time. This was a regular re-order from Chewy, but the sticks and the package this time are different. Disappointed in the quality and worried about the safety. The new packaging says the sticks are irradiated and does not give any other manufacturing or product origin info. Worried and not happy.
These are not what they used to be - they quality is bad and they are dry and crunchy. My frenchie and Boston chew through one stick each in under 5 minutes - the first shipment we figured was a bad batch, but after another terrible bag, we see that the quality is no longer there. Significantly better options out there, especially at this price range
My Westie is two. When she 1st arrived she was 8 weeks. Part of her training was to not eat the furniture. A friend recommended Bully sticks and that immediately solve the problem. She chose the Bully sticks over the furniture.
My dog loves these, but the price has gone up so much that the cost is prohibitive. I’m slowly phasing them out. Going to Yak chews which last 5 times longer at almost a quarter of the price.
My dog (whippet) loves these - he demolishes these fat ones within 20 minutes. I wished they lasted longer
Some are thin and some very thick. Neither sizes lasted very long; definitely not more than 10 minutes. I would love to find a chew lasting longer, but not so hard it would break my dog's teeth! I'm glad I ordered two different sizes of the bully stick holders; small and very large. Thankfully, the smallest end of the huge sticks fit into the very large holder.
I'm not sure what is going on with the bullies lately, but the last 2 bags I've gotten have not been at desirable for my girl. She starts to chew them and they are almost woody.. stringy, like a piece of string cheese. Out of the full bag (which is not exactly cheap), she might get to chew half. The other half are partly chewed and stringy. I'll put brand new ones in her bully holder, give it to her... she won't take it. Or, she takes it, and buries it. I say all this because I have purchased from this company for many years . The bullies have never looked like this, where they are near black, fat & cracked and some are super thin, and that brown color. Years ago when I ordered, I would order a bag of 25, and I would get all that were the brownish color (slightly varied) and they were all about the same size. PERFECT for my minpins and they LOVED them. Now, I'm getting all these weird ones and I feel my money is getting wasted. What do I order now?
My 50 pound dog chewed through one of these in 8 minutes. My trainer recommend them saying the would last for hours, so I was hoping it would last way longer! I cant believe they were almost $80. I could have bought equivalent sticks from the grocery store for half the cost. My fault for ordering small/medium dog, I guess.
Keep the bag sealed! These bad boys really smell horrible! One bag and done. Saving them for the guest dogs!
