Not the quality I was expecting
I bought this bed for one of my dogs with anxiety issues. It took him a couple of days, but he seems to enjoy the bed and tucking his face into the space between the middle and the bolster. That being said, there are 3 things I am disappointed in: 1. It's smaller than expected. I ordered a Large for my 80 lb GSD mix, and it's just a little too small for him. If I were to order it again, I'd get an XL. 2. There isn't much padding in the middle of the bed. 3. The "fur" on the covering is thinner than I expected. You can see the fabric at the bottom of the "fur."
Flat as a pancake - taupe
Ordered 2 small beds, different color. Didn't get the same bed. They even had different tags and packaging. This one in taupe came vacuum-packed with instructions to fluff it in the dryer, which I did twice and it still came out flat as a pancake with no recognizable bolster. The only reason part of the botster is standing up in the photo is because I put it against the couch. Otherwise, it's as flat as the rest. I measured the height of both beds - the pink one has 3" more loft. Taupe bed is 4" from floor. Not enough fill or shape in the taupe to calm or cuddle. Thankful for Chewy's generous return policy. Perhaps these beds were made by different manufacturers, please tell the vendor.
My feline loves it!
I purchased this bed for my 12 pound cat, Phineas, who recently developed arthritis. He normally sleeps in my bed, but I wanted him to have something he could easily crawl into as well. When I first put him in the Cuddler, he jumped out immediately. I'm not sure if the crinkly noise bothered him. I waited a few days, then put a small towel on the bottom. In minutes Phin was laying in his new bed and very, very happy. Now he spends a great deal of each day in his Cuddler, watching the world go by.
Love It!
My dog suffered a spine injury and has to be put in a kennel to heal. He's never been in a kennel before and found it really upsetting. I put this in the kennel and he's no longer distressed. He rests calmly which is just what he needs. The only drawback is that when the bed isn't in the kennel, every other dog in the house - including the large ones - tries to take it over. So maybe a bit too good? Haha!
Great beds !
My 3 medium sized dogs love these beds. I have purchased several & they are both upstairs & downstairs. They are very soft but supportive & they can just cuddle up in them. The only downside is there is no replacement fill. Eventually it can get tears in the casing as it's on the fragile side. There are replacement covers but I haven't needed those. That said haven't found a bed they like better & I've tried a few over years !
difficult to clean
ok this is a difficult review because on one hand my dog loves the bed so that is great, but when he throws up. its very very hard to clean even in the wash. its like long shag rug texture. i just put it in the wash, it didn't come out. I'm washing it a second time. i will probably just have to pick stuff out of the fabric, so if your dog has a tendency to get sick or have an accident now and again. its very difficult to clean, but again my dog loves it.
fabulously cute and cozy
I have a 10 month, 92 pound Rottie — and my sweet baby is outgrowing everything! I couldn’t find any seller who sold something cozy and big enough for her to grow into but Chewy has an amazing return policy so I figured I would try this out. And we both love it!!! The color is perfect for her room (yes she has her own room), and it is big enough for the both of us to be in at the same time. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who has a large breed!
ordered 2 but they were different
I ordered two small beds but two different colors: sage and taupe. The sage was perfect, matched description and appeared like the photos. However, the taupe color one arrived in a vacuumed sealed bag, completely flat after I took it out of the package and looks completely different from the sage one. Hoping it will fluff on its own after sitting overnight.

This pic is the first night upon receipt. Understand, this is not the first bed purchased for Hunter. Of course he allows me to share the queen-size bed but I feel he should have his very own for quiet time alone. Well, I placed the bed on the queen-sized bed and he snuggled in immediately. He sends a big thank you to Chewy and so do I. We love Chewy!!!
Dog Loves It, But Quality of Shag Doesn’t Match Cost
My dog loves this! It’s perfect for her since she curls up a lot and loves to prop her head up. But I’m disappointed with the quality of the shag. When I washed it for the first time to fluff it up after taking it out the package, a portion of the shack ended up pretty matted and lost texture. It’s gotten worse with each wash. That said, it’s ultimately still worth it for how much by pup likes it. She’s comfy and cozy in it.
