Love this, I gave it to my husky and my Golden retriever. They love it and don’t eat their food without it.
I bought this because my black cat had dandruff that really spoils the look of his coat. Thought I'd have trouble getting him to eat it on his canned food but he is even licking the plate.
I noticed my dogs fur is coming out more and more often than before and now he seems more thirsty than before. Don't think I'll buy it again
'Best Paw Nutrition Pure Alaskan Salmon Oil Dog & Cat Supplement' is an excellent human-grade salmon oil that is good for all ages of dogs. Each of my three dogs, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to Pomeranian-mix to Poodle-mix, gets a full pump a day. They're 7, 8, and 13 now....and they're in excellent health with clear eyes and no allergies or skin issues, even though they spend a lot of time outdoors (we go for a 2-4 mile walk in the woods every day). I recommend Best Paw products.
I have been adding this to my cats' and dog's food for a year now. Their coats are so silky and soft and shedding has been reduced as well. When neighbors pet these guys, they remark at how soft they are. It even prompted one of them to purchase this product for her own dogs. I think that says it all.
My puppy really just love it. He's kind of picky but once I tried it he loved it. Great product
My dogs loved it right away. I haven't seen any evidence of reduced shedding as of yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This was my first bottle. I will buy it again.
I was excited to try the salmon oil for my dog who was having a terrible time with his skin. It’s was very dry and itchy so our Vet recommended salmon oil. I bought this with high hopes of quality and ease of use with the pump dispenser. The quality was great. My dogs coat not only cleared up but became super shiny by the time the bottle was empty. However, the pump did not work right from the start. I couldn’t get it to pump for the life of me. I should have contacted the seller but I was just too busy so I just poured a capful into his food with dinner. That was extremely messy and needed to be cleaned up off the side of the bottle, the counter and my hands ever time I used it. I kept using it because of the results. The bottle is small so don’t be tempted to just pour it out unmeasured into the food. I’d give this 5 stars had it not been for the broken pump.
We've tried several fish oil products from various places. This one doesn't have the BEST pump, but was still very easy to dispense/measure out the dosage for our dog - pumps are so much easier than using a measuring spoon. We've made other changes, too, but have been able to reduce our dog's Apoquel dosage since adding the salmon oil. He gobbles up his food with or without the oil, so the taste doesn't seem to affect his appetite.
I've used this for quite and awhile and have tried others as well. All of my dogs have loved it being added to their kibble. I personally have not tasted it but then again I don't taste any of their other food or treats because I'm sure I wouldn't like any of it. I leave that up to them and they love it!!!
