Cats ignore this scratcher

My cats love most scratchers, but not this one. I’ve tried adding catnip to the top and sides, but they will only give it a cursory glance before walking away. Maybe it is the shape? although they have enjoyed curvy scratchers before.

Miss Kitty was only peripherally curious at first but doesn't really care about it. However, I did change the location of it and she came to swat at the balls a few times but that ended quickly as well. Oh well, the search goes on.

Both of our kitties love this scratcher! They both use it for scratching, playing with the balls or even just perched on it! One time it rolled over when kitty was scratching and there was more to scratch on the other side! Highly recommend!
