Not Heavy Duty

I bought this item due to it being a heavy duty crate mat. I put my dog in the crate to go to the store and when I returned it was already chewed up and the stufffing was everywhere. I had to throw it away. The mat itself was nice and I was hoping would satisfy the need. I will look for some others that might be more durable.

NOT Heavy Duty - Destroyed Quickly

Out of the box the mat did not feel "heavy duty". It felt nice and cozy, but not substantial. Unfortunately, this proved to be true when my 6-month old small rescue puppy was able to chew through the mat fairly easily. On the first day he pulled the loop off. And, within a week, he chewed a hole into the mat and pulled the stuffing out. I tried to patch it, but he just chewed a new hole in another spot. This mat should not be marketed as 'heavy duty', The mats at the discount store lasted longer (and were a fraction of the price).
