Came in a giant box wrapped in plastic, one piece. Good. Looks nice in person. The five step staircase is the same height as the bedroom windowsill so the top step can be used for looking out. I thought it might collapse a bit with the weight of my middle aged 26 pound cat, but it's pretty sturdy. Just a little comfort squish and sits in place even when being hopped on so I don't think I'll need to secure it to a wall or weight it. He's getting up and down from his furniture with ease now without having to ask for help, so mission accomplished.
Perfect for kitty!

My kitty is getting older and was sometimes missing her jump up on the bed. Also, I was concerned about the stress on her joints when she jumped down. These steps solved the problem! She can now get on and off the bed with ease!
She was scared of the steps the first day or so, but I put some treats on the steps and she overcame her fear.
I just ordered another set of steps for her to get up and down off the sofa.
Dog Stairs and Dog Ramp
on Apr 28, 2021
I just love the dog stairs and the dog ramp I got for my fur baby Penny, Penny hurt her paw jumping off my bed. Now I don't have to worry, she goes up and down with no problem I have the ramp in the bedroom and the stairs in the parlor for going up the sofa.
Looks great but too small for my dog.

It's a great product but is smaller then I expected. Tall enough but the steps are to small/short/close together. My dog who weights 50 pounds is afraid to use. I should have ordered the larger size. But all in all it's a great product.
Kitty uses it

My older kitty has arthritis and was having trouble getting on the bed. I took the steps out of the box (no assembly was great), put them beside the bed and she started using them immediately. Great for cats, don’t know if they would hold up for larger dogs.
Perfect Stairs for Kitty of Small Dog
on Mar 8, 2021
My kitty is aging and missing his jump too often. These stairs look nice and are just perfect. As the small size is light weight, works well for animals under 10 pounds.

After only 6 months the foam is shredded and so is the inside of the cover. There are really deep slits in every step. They are so deep that my dogs feet get stuck in them and my dog is only 23lbs! I love that they help my dog but not if i have to buy new stairs every 6 months.
Steps R Perfect

These steps are great I wish they made them a bit taller but with the assistance of a base I made them reach for my mini dachshund her legs are only three inches so the thirty inch height is attainable for her Thanks
Stairs for dogs

As my 13 pound, 10 year old chihuahua seemed to need help in getting up and down the sofa, I decided to buy him stairs. There are so many -- as he's a small dog, I thought these would be softer for his feet. It took a few days for him to get the hang on the stairs - they work for his size --- however if it was a bigger heavier dog, I don't know if they would be sturdy enough. Also, it would be nice if each of the stair steps themselves were a little deeper as that might make a dog a little braver in going up and down the stairs. Also, I was confused as to whether I should get 3 stairs or 4 stairs for the sofa -- the 3 stairs work great as they are a few inches below the sofa level, and heAs my 13 pound, 10 year old chihuahua seemed to need help in getting up and down the sofa, I decided to buy him stairs. Buy the expensive wood ramps instead!
on Nov 3, 2020
We got this about a year ago instead of deciding to go for the expensive wood padded ramp until now. We have these off the side of our bed and the bedroom door is in front of the foot of our bed..There's now weak spots in a diagonal stripe across the steps where my dachshund runs up and down. Of course it works just how its supposed to, but I thought for how silly expensive this piece of foam and fabric is that it would last a few years. I would recommend to just go for the expensive adjustable wood ones youre comparing these to.
