Best dog food on the market!
Okay, I’m not one to write reviews, but this dog food has relieved so much stress for me! I have an extremely picky 8 month old puppy. I’ve tried countless different types of food in the 5 months I’ve had her and when she seems to really be liking one, she decides after a few days that she doesn’t like it anymore. She gets to the point where she refuses to eat more than a few bites a day, and no trick that I’ve tried has seemed to help these stubborn refusals at all. The only thing that interested her in the least bit was the “shreds of chicken” in otherwise regular kibble. Which lead me on a search for a more natural (but still well balanced) dry food for her because refrigerated/frozen natural foods don’t work for our outdoorsy lifestyle. But, I still wanted something that I knew was more natural rather than processed. Fast forward through all of my research and I stumbled upon this brand. I started with their treats to see how my pup reacted to them over a few days time. After a week she was still excited for them, so I decided to take a chance on the food. And that’s when our life changed. I’ve never seen her so excited about food before (even including human food)! I can’t blame her, because even the kibble portion of this food looks and smells so much more appetizing than any other kibble we’ve seen/tried. We’ll be trying out the small bag of Salmon flavored next and I will probably keep her on a rotation between the two flavors to keep it exciting, but this brand has earned a lifelong customer from us! I seriously can’t express how thrilled I am to have found this brand. It is a bit pricey compared to generic dry food, but it is so absolutely worth it. I will never buy anything else.
A True Complete Meal
We love this option for feeding our dogs! Being a little different in age its great having a food option that is good for both of them. Made in the USA and a taste our pups love this food is now a staple in our household!

My dog likes this a lot! It has a good amount of kibble, which I wasn't expecting for the price. I was trying to decrease the kibble and increase freeze dried raw. It's a pricey proposition, but I think I'll keep trying until I find the right balance for me.
Loose stools, gas & grass-eating
I want to like this food. My dogs like it and they also like the salmon flavor. However, it caused loose stools and gas in my dogs. My lab is also eating grass like it's her new favorite diet. Disappointed that this wasn't a winner like the salmon. Not sure what's the difference. I hate to throw it away but not sure what to do with the remainder.

Our new fave dog food!! (Our dog’s too ;))
Our dog Huck gets so excited when we bring out this new food for meals. We’re so glad to have found something made with high quality ingredients, and that includes actual veggies and chunks of salmon or chicken (when you open the bag the food really looks just like the photos). We especially love the salmon option, as we are doing all we can to ward off joint issues with our 3-legged pup and know that the omega 3’s will help! Lastly, the resealable package makes storing the food a breeze. Thanks for making it so easy to feel like we’re supporting our pups health with nourishing meals!!
The best!
Our dog has a very sensitive stomach and does not always have an appetite, but with A Better Dog Food, he gets so excited as soon as he hears the bag open. When he’s finished eating, there’s not a single kibble left in his bowl. You can actually the see the generous pieces of freeze dried protein and veggies through the bag. Unlike most kibbles, which run out of the goodies towards the middle of the bag, there’s enough freeze dried goodies in this one with every scoop. The bag is easily resealable to keep the food fresh. Since starting our dog on this, his coat feels softer and he seems healthier all around. He absolutely loves the salmon one, so thought we’d also try the chicken!
Perfect for my pup!
Like me, my dog is usually excited when food is involved, but with this kibble, he is WAY more excited. He just smells the difference, and I'm sure he tastes it too. You can easily see the freeze-dried chicken and veggies the moment you open the bag, and there is a good amount of them dispersed throughout. The bag is also resealable (why don't more companies do this?!) so the food stays fresh and you can easily take the bag places if needed. Happy pup = Happy owner :)
my dog’s new food
I was initially hesitant moving up to purchase a premium dry kibble product. However, I’m so thankful I did. There is genuinely a good amount of real chicken and vegetables in the mix. I have no issues with getting my 2 smaller dogs to eat it. A winner!
high end dog food!
Wow, just got this dog food in the mail. The packaging is great and has a nice velcro closure. There are nice pieces of dried veggies and chicken along with kibble. The ingredients have chicken first which is hard to find these days. Our dog LOVES it! Highly recommend.
