    both cats love it

By felines on May 16, 2020

One more than the other but a win for both. Really wish I could find a similar quality food that they both truly enjoy that didn't contain fish. But fish aside, really happy with this.

    Cats not liking it

By Catsincrestview on Mar 4, 2019

Cats won’t touch it. I have two cats who immediately tried to cover it up.

    Kitty crack in difficult packaging

    By on

I can write the same review for every flavor of this particular food line. One cat doesn’t like one flavor but the other does so I will just give an overall review of how me and my cats feel about this line. All that said, I bought this trying to replace the discontinued Iams flaked that they had been eating. I must say, I’ve tried MANY “flaked seafood “ foods - all different brands but NOTHING enticed my cats to eat. They just stared at me waiting for their food - because clearly I wasn’t expecting them to eat what I just put on their dishes. Then I found this food and everything changed. My cats come RUNNING at mealtime, hooping up on the counters and rubbing on me as if I was their queen I can write the same review for every flavor of this particular food line. It is like I said in the title: this food is like kitty crack. But. I did remove a star because I despise the packaging. It should be neat and easy and it’s a plus that it is recycleable but it is really messy and hard to get all the food out of it. That’s my two cents - thanks for reading! … more

    Good for the most part

I have two adult special needs (FeLV Pos) cats that like this food. It's been trial and error to find a food that high nutrition food that one of the two will eat. This one so far is working out but I'm still searching for one with higher nutrition value (and in a can, not a fan of fumbling with the foil pouch)

Good quality but picky Cat says no thanks

My finicky cat isn’t crazy about the flavor. It’s a high quality food that the other, less fussy cat gobbles up.

    Wow!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

So I purchased one pouch to try locally as I didn't want to buy a whole case in case the cats hated it. This surprised me! My senior cat who can only eat wet food left the bowl spotless (which rarely happens). Will definitely add this to our rotation. I am a bit skeptical about it being made in Thailand (might do more research on this). Also, minus a star for the packaging. I hate pouches, I feel you loose so much product plus it seems wasteful as I can at least recycle tin cans.

    Really good product

    By on

This product had a cat of mine that is 6 years old eating wet food when she had only eaten dry for years. She tries to get into pouch as soon as I get it out. Loves all the flavors, so glad you have product for my cat

my cat will eat when really hungry

    By on

My cat is fussy about what he eats. He won't eat canned, so I switched to treat food with gravy in a pouch. These are more costly, and not enough for a day even with dry to supplement, so I switched to BFF which I don't believe is a "treat," has double the food per pouch, and costs less than the previous brand. It does have a stronger scent and color. Kitty will eat it so far, and hoping he will continue.

    My cat loves lamb

There might be a couple of ingredients that aren't natural, but overall seems good, and my cat loves it.

One of Only 3 Soft Food Varieties That my Cat Will Eat

    By on

BFF Tuna & Lamb Luv Ya Recipe is one of only 3 soft food varieties that my cat will eat. He's super picky, but comes running for this food. The pouch is also convenient vs. scooping out of a can for minimal mess. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a well made soft food that's healthy for your cat. The only reason I gave this one 4 stars is because it looks absolutely disgusting once out of the pouch. It's like a fish slurry, and I've yet to come across another type of soft cat food of similar consistency. Human gross factor aside, my cat loves it and I never have any issues when feeding it to him, which I will continue to do.

    Ewwwwww!!!!

    By on

I gotta be honest - this stuff looks and smells NASTY but the kitty seems to love it. I'm a pet parent who doesn't feed seafood if I can help it and especially not tuna. I wanted to give the kitty something different and figured lamb and tuna was ok. She likes it, I don't. I can make a pouch last three drawn out feedings mixed with some other chicken food. I call it left overs and it mitigates the smell even thought she gets stinky tuna breath that's hard to get rid of especially since she doesn't like the vanilla mint toothpaste as poultry is outta stock. Good product for kitties!

    My cats approve

    By on

I've fed my cats health food for years, which basically means stuff that's not super stinky or palatable. They were thrilled to get this. I read elsewhere (not from the manufacturer) that this variety is somewhat low in phosphorus for a non-Rx cat food, which is important for elderly cat health. My cats like it, but only one is willing to eat it as leftovers most of the time- a sign that it's probably not the tastiest food I've ever given them. That said, it's working fairly well, provided I open a fresh pouch each time. (My cats get dry food primarily, so it's tempting to feed less than a whole pouch at a time.)
