Cleaning the Dog Bed Cover: Our dog bed covers are machine washable. Wash on cold, tumble dry. Our microfiber also does not shrink. As long as you wash on cold & tumble dry, they can be washed 1,000 times and they won’t shrink by more than fractions of a millimeter.
Cleaning the Foam: The foam can be cleaned, but it’s a bit more hassle than washing the cover. If there’s ever an accident or a spill on the foam, what you want to do is soak the affected area thoroughly with warm water and dish soap. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then press out as much moisture as you can. Do not “wring out” the foam, because wet foam is very heavy and tears very easily. Leave it in a dry place. It might take a couple days to completely dry out, but when it does, it should be good as new.

The microfiber covers are water-resistant, but not 100% waterproof. Things like drool, licking or a wet dog coming in from the rain will NOT get through the fabric.
Microfiber is a very tightly woven fabric, so the "holes" are very very tiny. Drool, wet fur, etc will be blocked by the microfiber cover.
However - if you spilled a glass of water on the cover and let it sit for a long time, it WILL get through.
While most dogs love the bed right away, it's not uncommon for some dogs to take up to a few weeks before getting used to a new bed. Don't worry, almost all dogs fall in love with the bed, it just takes some dogs longer than others.
Here are a few tips that have worked for other dog owners:
Most importantly though, just give it time.
No, the cover is not made from chew resistant material. We use a furniture grade microfiber. It's "tear resistant" - meaning, it holds up better against nesting/digging than most types of dog bed covers. But dogs can chew through it if they're determined.
Our dog bed covers are machine washable. Wash on cold, tumble dry. Our microfiber also does not shrink. As long as you wash on cold & tumble dry, they can be washed 1,000 times and they won’t shrink by more than fractions of a millimeter. They’re also very easy to take on and off. Most dog beds just zip on a single side, but we use zipper around 3 sides.
The crate pad covers are also machine washable, however it’s easier to clean them with just a wet rag. Since they’re made with waterproof backing, don’t worry about getting the foam wet. If soiled, you can wipe with warm soapy water. Any dish soap will do. If you do choose to machine wash, use low heat. Dry on low for 10-15 minutes. IMPORTANT: Never use high heat settings in the washer or dryer, high heat will destroy the waterproof backing.
Machine washable. Wash on low heat, dry on low for no more than 10-15 minutes. Drying the liner on high temperature settings will destroy the waterproof backing.

The most important measurement is the width of the bed. What you want to do is have your dog stand up straight, and measure from the bottom of the paw to the top of the hip or shoulder. This is the amount of room that your dog needs to be in a full 100% stretch position. Compare that measurement to the width of our sizes. You'll want an extra 3-4 inches. For example, if your dog measures 25 inches, you'll do great with the Large, which is 30" wide. But if your dog is 28 inches, you'll want to bump up to the 36-inch wide XL. Note: the foam composition is the same between the Large, XL, and Giant sizes. All 3 sizes can easily support a 300 lb dog if they have to.
Took my 100 lb 2 year old puppy a minute to warm to this bed; he was used to sleeping on mine and totally disturbing my sleep! Once he realized that this was his best option moving forward, he started habitually using it, and now he absolutely loves it. The thickness of the foam is essential for larger breeds, and I will agree that it doesn't seem to trap heat as badly as my mattress (and my pup runs hot, so that's super). Very well made bed. Satisfied that it was as expected and seems like it will hold up well!
Purchased the Big Barker for my 60 lb Boxer/Pit mix. She is currently awaiting bilateral TPLO in two weeks. She absolutely loves her bed and my 250 # butt fits it pretty good too. Get ya one!
I ordered this for my three year old shepherd mix following a CCL tear/surgery. I read the rave reviews from online forms and knew we had to give it a try. Well, this bed has lived up to my expectations and more! I am beyond please with the quality of the padding, cover, and overall construction. It is so comfortable! My pup took right to the bed and as is currently snoozing away on it. This bed is built to last and will be loved in our home for years to come. This bed is worth every penny.
This bed is cozy enough for my dog and I to lay on together! She may not want me laying on it as she get's older and LARGER, but it is great. She loves the pillow. We've had to wash it already, and it really came clean. We hung it on the line, and finished it in the dryer. It went back onto the bed fairly easily. No complaints and all from me or my dog!
This bed for all intensive purposes seemed good until I had to wash/dry then reapply. The zipper teeth no longer work and the bed material no longer covers the foam.
I purchased this bed for my 7 year old Great Dane when she started showing signs of arthritis. She is typically VERY picky about where she chooses to lay and she loved his bed immediately!
This bed for my, Big Boy, is fantastic. It is great for any dog. If my dog could talk he would say, he is Sleeping on a Supportive Cloud.
I have an almost 11 year old GSD/Border Collie mix who struggled with arthritis from time to time. I bought this bed in hopes it would help and it has been the best decision we ever made. We’ve had the bed for about 6 months and immediately started to notice a difference. He has no trouble getting up, his back legs never shake anymore, and he’s not even a little bit sore after 6+ miles of hiking. He LOVES this bed (which is shocking because he’s super particular) and lays on it all the time. It hasn’t gone down one bit and hardly looks used even though he lays/sleeps on it non stop. I would recommend this bed to anyone, especially someone with an older dog. It was 100% worth every penny.
This bed is great! We have a 105 lb German Shepherd and there is plenty of room for him. It came out of the box looking great and seems to be super indestructible -- at least so far. Dog loved it right away. Really happy with this purchase.
I was a little hesitant about ordering this bed because of the price.. after reading a lot of reviews and watching videos about the bed, I made the purchase for my 9 year old German shepard/Husky mix. The bed arrived 2 days after ordering and I'm so happy I bought it! Within 2-3 days my girl was completely comfortable and loves her new bed. She usually uses pillows to prop her head up and with the built in head we no longer need to worry about them. The bed is firm and doesn't flatten down because of her large size and heavy weight. Definitely recommend this brand for older or large breed doggos!
