About Bil-Jac

After returning home from serving in World War II, brothers Bill and Jack Kelly began their mission to create a better pet food in 1947. They developed a completely new way to take large amounts of fresh chicken, cook it slowly, and then vacuum dry it to remove the moisture while keeping its powerful nutritional value. Today, they continue their commitment to nutrition with their ever-growing assortment of foods and treats.

Our Myah an Alaskan Malamute Loves this food. She only likes a couple brands and Biljac is her Absolute Favorite. Tried Blue Buffalo and she picked at it. She would take the little Black super Vitamin Bits out and put on the side and never Eat LOL

    Corgis love it

    By on

I usually feed Fromm.. however my one Corgi refused. I bought the picky eater Bil Jax the gobble it up.. my vet said dogs get fat on Bil Jax so I just keep my eye on their waist lines.. a lot of dog foods are 409 per cup.. if they get plump I mix a dog food that is 250 per cup. They will not eat any other Bil Jax except picky eater one.

    dry picky dog

    By on

I have a 1 and a half year old golden doodle and he is the pickiest eater I’ve ever met. When I opened the bag he stuck his head in the bag and started eating. This food is great. Also my dog doesn’t like eating big pellets of food so this is perfect! It’s like horse grain.

    Doing Well

    By on

Due to the taurine deficiency worries that seem to be linked to grain free diets, I am looking for a food that is meat-rich and that doesn't have peas, legumes, lentils, potatoes, etc... After searching ingredients, I chose to try a bag of this product. The dogs, 7 of them, all like it and smaller, less frequent stools are good.

    Not happy with this food

    By on

My bulldogs did not like this food and we bought it to help put weight on them before the show ring. We had to add stuff to it just so they would eat it.

    Older Dog that's slow

    By on

We have 3 dogs and the oldest is picky about his food. Often leaving for the other 2 to attack. He then goes hungry and gets Hangry. We tried many different brands and flavors. We hate picking up his bowl until he is starving. We found this and he loves it. So do the other dogs. Thanks Bil Jack

Not bad product, but my dog won't eat it :(

We all love our pets. If we didn't, we wouldn't be searching for the "right" kibble. I love and adore CHEWY's products and services. However (not by fault of CHEWY), my dog will not eat this. Just a waste of money, paid for a 27 POUND bag, assuming that my dogs would love it, and to my great disappointment they walked away from it. Now it's just sitting in the kitchen pantry. Again, let me say, this post is not about my great friends at CHEWY. I will never stop ordering from CHEWY. All of us dog lovers try to find foods that make US feel like we are buying them the "best" kibble, because they don't like the last kibble we purchased. All of us dog lovers try to find foods that make US feel like we are buying them the "best" kibble, because they don't like the last kibble we purchased. So then, we buy another brand, and another brand! The cycle is exhausting! My dogs want OUR PLATE with "real" bacon and eggs! LOL There is no doubt in my mind that our dogs ARE like humans when it comes to food. They are starving for human grade food. They want real meat. Sometimes I am thankful that my dogs are not my "REAL" children, because I wouldn't feed them dry kibble at meal time! Only thing is, my dogs don't eat grits. LOL But as we know, the expense to feed our dogs hamburger, steak, pork chops, and all the meat humans eat, would overwhelm our budget. SO, we will keep on searching for that perfect appetite stimulator for our dogs. As my sweet, dog loving husband always says, "If they get hungry they'll eat it". LOL ! Have a blessed day doggie friends! Donna in Monroe, North Carolina … more

    No success again.

    By on

Bought this in an attempt to find a food my picky eater will eat readily and consistently. She did pick at it but ate only a couple of cups before walking away. A second attempt to feed it resulted in rejection. The other dogs were enthusiastic about the food but my picky eater has yet to find a food she wants to eat. This food is extruded in tiny pellets, and she is more likely at over 100 pounds to prefer larger chunks, so this may contribute to its lack of success.
