If these bags are made in San Leandro, CA, why can't they be shipped to CA? It only says because of "regulations"

My friend has argued with chewy about this - they say it is because of the single use plastic bag ban in CA but these aren't made of plastic! And they will ship other poop bags that are plastic. It makes no sense. Other sites will send you biobag poop bags.

Will these bags biodegrade in a regular landfill or does it have to be a municipal composting facility?

In a landfill, nothing breaks down due to the lack of oxygen, not even compostable bags. BioBag compostable dog waste bags do contain renewable/plant content, so a consumer would be making "a green statement" by purchasing them by using less polyethylene.
For the 600 count pack are the bags black or green? Thank you.

I really like these bags

I guess I'm not the only one who likes these biodegradable bags. You're sold out! I'll just have to wait until you are restocked. Thanks for carrying them. I wish our local pet store carried them.

awesome bags

I appreciate the environmentally-friendly dog poop bags and that it didn't come in a bunch of plastic (came in cardboard box). Bags are plenty big for my medium-sized dog.

Good for smaller Dogs

I don't normally buy these bags but I thought I would try them. They're flimsy I say they would be great for smaller dogs but I have a boxer/mastiff mix I have to use two bags lol so I reordered my old bags. I'll use these for back up.

Truly compostable

So many pet bags add to our garbage stream. There are other poop bags out there that way they are compostable, but reading the fine print they really aren't.. These bags made of vegetable matter are the real deal, truly compostable. They are more expensive than other bags, but hopefully that will change as they become more popular

only bag that actually breaks down

there are a lot of pet waste bags on the market that are advertised as eco-friendly but this is the only one i’ve found that begins to decompose within a few weeks of use. it is made of entirely plant based starches/materials. i order them in bulk so we never use plastic to dispose of my dog’s waste. i urge everyone to get these. our city has actually begun making these available at dog parks and nature walks around town to avoid use of plastic.

Biobags easy to use!

I like these, because instead of a roll, they are all attached at the top with a hole that I hang on a coat rack-rip off two from the bunch and pocket on my way out the door. Roomy, biodegradable, cheap and tough!

Environmentally friendly and good size

Reference, I have a medium sized dog. These bags pick up all of her poo and don't rip or tear. Would be more convenient for storage if they came on a roll, but it works just fine. No complaints!!
