BioBag Waste Bags are a great alternative to regular polyethylene plastic bags because they're made from a resin derived from plants, vegetable oils and compostable polymers. They can be readily composted along with organic waste in municipal composting facilities and meet the ASTM D6400 standard specification for the labeling of plastics designed to be aerobically composted in municipal or industrial facilities. Please check www.findacomposter.com to make sure facilities are available in your community!
Clean and responsible, made from plants, vegetable oils, and compostable polymers.
Great alternative to plastic bags that are made from polyethylene. They are easily composted along with organic waste in a municipal setting.
The black color hides the contents after being used for the dirty job.
Each bag measures 8 x 11.4 inches and is 0.92 millimeters in thickness.
Manufactured in the USA with resin sourced from Italy.
Do not put bag over head/face, danger of suffocation.
better for the environment; wish they came in a roll

The bags are superior to the standard, plastic bags-on-a-roll. They are easier to handle, soft to the touch, leakproof, and very protective of the hand that holds them! They come in a flat stack, only attached at the top, and you tear them off one (or more) at a time. Being so used to having the old, plastic poop bags on a roll, which fit/dispense easily with the roll-type dispenser that hangs from the leash handle, it's a slight inconvenience to have to manually stuff these new bags into that dispenser. But it's well worth the positive contribution that using biodegradable bags makes to our environment. Buy them, and join the movement!
These are great cat poop bags!

These are the best ones I have tried for my cat. They are not so good for our Great Pyrenees, but are really good for scooping the cat box. I love that they are a US product!
Could be a little thicker

I like these, but they are hard to carry around on a walk.
They could be a little more thicker, they are kind of thin and when you tie the bag up it tears.
Bags tear easily

We have purchased these bags before and were happy with them. This batch has had many that tore when we tried to pick up the dog poo. Very annoying to have one bag tear and then have the second bag tear while trying to clean up from the first bag. Will not buy again.

BioBag concept is great. The closure process is a bit cumbersome in the dark. I end up just knotting the bag.
Durable bags, work well for cleaning up after our Shepherd

We've been using BioBags for about a week or so now, and we are happy with this product. The standard size are large enough for cleaning up after our Shepherd on our walks, and even though the bags seem thin to the touch, they hold up well with no tears or mess. Will continue to purchase.

This is good for my dog, but the bags are not great for my cats. The cats use horse bedding pellets and the bags don't stand up that well for when I'm emptying their litter box. So good product but not for the eco friendly horse bedding pellet litter boxes that I have.
Never Using Plastic Bags Again

I've been using these bags for my pug for over a year now and I have zero complaints. I also used to have a larger dog and they worked perfectly fine for her waste, as well. The bags are thin, but sturdy and never puncture, they are compostable, and very affordable. All of the packaging is recyclable paper. I purchase 200 bags at a time and I like there there is not even an unnecessary plastic wrapping over the box. I am blown away by the number of reviews complaining that the bags are not on a roll; it's not an issue at all. The whole point of using a bag made from bio-material is to reduce single-use materials, so why waste more plastic or cardboard just for a little extra convenience?

I researched this company thoroughly before purchasing. Their website is very informative about the certifications they have and the specifications of their products. For someone who is attempting to live a minimal-waste lifestyle, it is all very interesting. I currently live in a Chicago apartment where composting is not an option, but I hope to some day be able to compost the bags in the way they were intended to be disposed of. When the bags end up in a landfill they will not degrade as fast, but they will still degrade much faster than plastic.… more

I love that these are biodegradable! They are a generous size, and you can tear them off one by one as you go out the door and put them in your pocket heading out to the yard. No need to hunt for “ bombs” later.

I bought these for when I clean out the litter box. Perfect size, not too thin. It doesn’t come in a roll but since i just have it next to the litter box that isn’t a big issue for me at all.
