This product is extremely effective at catching seed moths. It's very frustrating if you get a seed mop infestation and feels impossible to get it under control at times! It's one of those things that happens sometimes unexpectedly and very fast but these traps really do the trick!
To help save money what really works. After card is full I've taken the sticker square and put it on fly paper the square draws the moth to the fly paper. I use the same square over and over again.
I bought these because I had small moth like bugs in my pantry. I looked up how to get rid of pantry bugs and these came up. Figured they were cheap and I was already doing a chewy order so why not. I opened the little red pheromone attractor and no joke I was swarmed by moths. Within 30 seconds I had caught at least 10-15 of them. There were a few who were not attracted it seemed. But within a week they too disappeared. I’m not sure if it only attracts one sex of the moth then the others die off, but whatever it was it definitely worked. I would buy again.
Typically I’m against sticky traps, but we’ve been battling these moths for 3 years and FINALLY found something that works! Started attracting them within minutes of putting it out, and a couple weeks later it’s still getting more moths.
The moths were completely out of control in my garage where my bird seed is stored. I saw this product and gave it a try. Within a minute of putting 2 traps out, the moths were swarming to them. I had to take a video because it was so crazy! The product works! It really, really works to eliminate those pesky things!
I have used other moth traps that have worked much better. I don't know why these were so much worse but they are.
So I decided to store 2 big bags of birdseed in my home closet. Time went by and suddenly started seeing moths flying around. Googled it and read they were birdseed moths. I bought this product-set up both traps. O-M-G-there are so many moths in there, my stomach turns. I read how this works and its brilliant! The best part-it was so inexpensive!!! If you have this type of moth problem-you need this product.
My indoor storage of birdseed was a bad idea. Meal moths all over the place. When I started unwrapping the package you sent me, the moths literally started flying all around me- and I hadn't even touched the well-sealed sex-hormone attractant bait pouch yet. Amazing! And don't forget to put the trap in the freezer for 5 minutes to facilitate peeling the protectant plastic off the glue... it makes a huge difference.
Not catching as many moths as expected. Longer they are out and the higher they are located seems to help though.
Ordered these traps to help with some small dusty moths we think came from a large bag of peanuts in the shell we got locally to feed squirrels. The pheromone didn't seem to attract our moths but the sticky trap was excellent at sharing them by hand. We are making progress.
