  • Very sturdy, great for 'power chewers'

    By on

I have 4 pitties, and toys don't usually last very long in my house. Even the ones that claim to be tough last maybe an hour! My dogs really love these and they are amazingly durable! They seem to be made of a very tough rubber; sturdy, yet have some 'give'. I bought one about 2 years ago at a Pet Expo and we still have it! So I was so pleased to find more on Chewy, I bought more right away. One of my dogs has been chewing his new toy non-stop for about 2 weeks now, and it has hardly a scratch! Highly recommended!

  • Great Durable Toy

    By on

This is a wonderful toy, great for medium size dogs like beagles, Keeshonds, Samoyeds, etc. Although it would be okay to use as a fetch toy for a German Shepherd, don't leave it with him to chew on. He/she will be able chew through this and break off pieces.

  • Big Boy Toy

    By on

I thought I had ordered the medium sized toy--my little man is only a shih tzu--and the toy I received is quite large and heavy for him. But he does chomp it and "work" it for the treats inside. Cleans easily in the dishwasher.

  • Life saver! LITERALLY!

Our dogs are huge Tuers. One weighs 25 pounds another 40 pounds and lastly 55 pounds. They chew through antlers and a matter of seconds. Most recently our largest dog was in the hospital for a month because of a chew toy that she chewed to lil pieces and one of those little pieces got stuck in her stomach so she had to have obstruction surgery to remove the plastic which cost a fortune. I don’t ever review items but seeing as our dogs have had this to Chew toy for several months now and have not made a dent, a scratch, or have been able to get a tiny piece off AND they absolutely love the bone and I have yet to ever see any of them without it in their mouth. It’s a freaking miracle! I highly Our dogs are huge Tuers. One weighs 25 pounds another 40 pounds and lastly 55 pounds. They chew through antlers and a matter of seconds. I’ve thrown away every other toy they had because I won’t risk their lives or pay another $4-6k to have pieces of dog toys, that you assume are safe for them but really are not, removed from your animal. … more

  • Worst Bone Ever!

    By on

I have a 9 year-old Golden who can be a bit fickle with regard to what toys she plays with so I was not SHOCKED that she ignored the Bionic Urban Stick. However, an adorable 12-week old Golden puppy just joined our family. As you can imagine: he will chew on anything that lays still on the floor (including the 9-year-old Golden). This little guy wants NOTHING to do with the Bionic Urban Stick. I found it to be my worst investment in this puppy to date. I would not recommend this bone.

  • Not bad for my power chewer

    By on

I have an American Bulldog that has destroyed every single toy she has ever been given. That being said she was able to chew off/through two small areas. At each end is softer material that after DAYS of constant gnawing she was able to get off in small pieces (she only chews off and never eats). After that small layer was gone though, she has not been able to destroy anything else and still carries it and plays with it.

  • 5 Stars from 3 Aussies

I found this looking for a chew toy of a 4 month old Australian Shepherd. Because my 7 yr old Aussie is an extreme chewer most of the chew toys in the house are hard Nylabones. I wanted something softer for the pup, but something the older dog would not "eat". One day the pup dragged a Bionic Bone toy out of the toy box. Since this toy has held up to my extreme chewer I looked into other produces by this company. I tried the Urban Stick. Both the puppy and adult dog loves it. Even my 13 yr old Aussie, who do longer prefers to chew on hard things, takes an occasional turn. So their Christmas stockings will have another Urban Stick as will a few of their Aussie friend's stockings. My I found this looking for a chew toy of a 4 month old Australian Shepherd. While the manufacturer recommends their larger toys I found the large Bionic Bones too large and too heavy. (I purchased all 3 sizes of the bone. My dogs would not play with the large. They preferred the small, but on occasion play with the medium.) Because of this I order the small Urban Stick, and it is working well for my pack. … more

  • Awesome!!!

    By on

The first one of the Bionic Bones I found in Marshall and it lasted our German Shepherd about eight months until she bite it in half. After going to every store including pet supply stores we were unable to find the Bionic Bones so we purchased several others for large breed dogs, they lasted less than a week. After much research we finally found them on Chewy.
