    Thanks Mark

Good product. Not only for ground birds, blue jays and the like, but I feed the neighbors goats corn in it. Billy and Nanny haven't destroyed it yet....I'd sat it's pretty sturdy.

    Really Wanted to Like This

By Jess on Jan 16, 2021

I was very excited for this to be back in stock and ordered it right away. It arrived in great packaging and the box was not damaged. Unfortunately the mesh was not pulled tight and it sags creating a bowl for water too pool. Since there is not enough tension it does not drain properly and the seed is soggier than if I just sprinkled it on a couple of pavers. Also, I’m not sure this is the best mesh to use in this type of feeder. Something metal would hold up better over time and I’d be willing to pay more to compensate cost for better materials. It is a little wobbly, but I could overlook this if the area that holds the food, which is most important, was done properly. It is a little wobbly, but I could overlook this if the area that holds the food, which is most important, was done properly. Wood warps over time anyway. It does look great, but birds don’t really care about that. Dry, unspoiled food is best for their health and my pocket book. I own over 40 bird feeders that I use in rotation over the seasons. This makes my Top 5 that I would never recommend. It gets 2 stars because at least I have a frame to work with to solve the negative issues. … more

Ground Feeder Keeps Feed Off the Wet Ground

By JudyBlueEyes on Jan 15, 2021

I live in a winter snowy climate and love this feeder. It keeps seed and grains off the wet ground. Seed remains clean and dry. My wild birds, bunnies, and pheasants easily eat off the feeder. Its a wire mesh top area, so fine residual seed shells drop thru the mesh. Like that.

    Love these feeders

By Karen on Oct 19, 2020

I use these feeders to feed squirrels and birds and they work great. I have two that I've had for several years and they've held up very well. I just ordered one more. I would have ordered more but that's all they had available. Great product. Well constructed and blends in with the yard. Love them!
