USED MACHINE!!

BEWARE!!! First off, my package arrived next day! Was so happy to have it so quickly and was ready to try it out. I noticed on the Bissell box there was a sticky note with numbers and thought that was weird and hoped it wasn’t used. Next, there was a brush missing as well as the cleaning products, there should have been two. When looking at the machine, there was a dried water spot and when I pulled out the hose there was still water in it! Customer service was really great but they couldn’t guarantee I wouldn’t get another used machine so getting a full refund and buying somewhere else. This was my first purchase with Chewy and I guess my last. They totally knew they were sending me a used and probably defective machine.

Works Well!

This is our second SpotBot; we had our first for three or four years and decided it was time for a new one. We researched all the models and chose this one because it seemed to fit our needs the best and had great reviews.The thing’s a champ for small messes (like carpet discoloration left over from a freshly-enjoyed bully stick, as we just found out!) and works well on upholstery. The only thing I don’t care for is their own brand of cleaning solution; it comes with a small bottle, but we’ve found that it set stains more often than it cleans them. We go with an enzymatic brand called Bubba’s Rowdy Friends Carpet Cleaner. We also use a Rug Doctor to keep our whole rugs clean in general, but this is great for quick touch ups and upholstery.

Our second SpotBot

We picked up a used SpotBot a few years ago. We are so happy with it we didn't hesitate to buy a brand new one when the first one was wore out. Having a large dog family we use it very often. Thank you Bissell. Thank you Chewy.

Very good carpet cleaner. love it. works great.

Love this carpet cleaner. I love that you can run it and leave it on a spot. My carpets have never looked so good. Great for my cats who throw up. I can just leave it on the spot and it will clean it better than a spray and scrub brush. Great price, great buy.

Indispensable

I’ve had two of these over the past 8 years. I have a cat with serious GI issues and used them heavily for about 4 years each before something broke; it is typically cheaper and easier to replace the whole thing than to repair. I never had issues with the touch pad on either one. They do a great job cleaning up cat vomit!

Vomit begone

My cat vomits on a regular basis and leaves pretty gnarly vomit bombs all over the carpet in my house. This magical device cleans every last bit, old or new stain. I’ve never been so relieved. Highly recommend.

Unreliable touchpad

The spot bot is a device, which because of its design, will generally be used for infrequent needs, ie cleaning the car, cleaning spots on the living room floor etc. It is not something that most people will use day in and day out. It does a good job when working but the touch pad used for selecting surface stain, set-in stain, hose and stop is poorly made as it does not stand up even to this infrequent use. I have owned two of them and both quit working after no more than 3 (literally three) uses. Admittedly there were often months between uses but this should not be a factor in its reliability. Because I use it infrequently, I have owned my current one for over a year, last used it about 9 months ago and so there is no way I will get this replaced by Bissel and the cost of replacing the control pad is too high to warrant doing that. In the end I have spent over $300 on these two items and have used them a total of six (literally six) times and now am faced with buying a third one (which I certainly won’t do) or renting one each time I have a need (more of a hassle but way way less expensive and frustrating).

I have two little dachshund pups and they have accidents all the time. I couldn’t live with out my spot bot!
