I've been bouncing back and forth between different weight loss Foods and I finally have found the one I'm going to continue to buy :)

It seems to be quality cat food with a convenient reclosable top. Too bad my cats do not like it, but I have not been able to find a reduced-calorie cat food that they do like yet.

This Blackwood Chicken Meal & Rice Recipe Cat Food is everything me and my kitties have been searching for. I LOVE the ingredients; such as kelp - no artificial vitamin K!! Thank you for that! It also is nutritionally balanced & complete and we are all so happy. The cats love it. They love the flavor and the pieces are not too large for my senior and my cat with a lot of pulled teeth. This company puts a lot of thought, love and pride into their product. Highly recommend.

I wanted to try something new for my cats, who don't get out much (unless on harness). And saw this food at a great sale price, and liked the ingredients. I tend to rotate foods, allowing for variety in taste and nutrition, and slowly transitioned them to this food. They really seem to like it and are doing very well on it! Even my megacolon cat is digesting and "going" ok so far (she is also on meds). They have one meal wet, and one meal dry, will keep on this food for a while a think :)

We thought we'd try a "filler" to help save on our large rescue budget and mixed this food with our regular Purina Tender Selects. It was left uneaten even though mixed in well. We liked that Blackwood was family owned and hoped with its reviews and pricing, it would be our answer, but it was refused and left in the bottom of all feeding bowls. So, the price of two large uneaten bags was not the answer.

The cats love this food but they actually gained weight on it!

My cat doesn't like this stuff, which is good, because she needs to eat less. She eats it eventually, but doesn't scarf it down then beg for more like her old food.

My cat likes this food even though it is lean. I like the resealable bag. Chewy as always has fast and free shipping.

All my cats may accept it, it is really not so easy, they always have their own choices before, but not this time. I am so glad to find a perfect food for everyone, and a reasonable price for me also. It is a Win-Win.

Pleased with the ingredients and my cat actually likes it, a welcome relief.
