Blue Buffalo Basics Limited Ingredient
By Annalise on Jan 18, 2021
My cat developed some kind of allergy where he licks constantly; not one place but everywhere. It’s as if he feels like ants are crawling on him. I have limited mobility and need to sit for long periods of time, and because my cat sits on me ALL the time, his constant licking constantly causes motion to me, constantly rocking me. I talked to my daughter about it and she told me that her cat was doing the same thing, and showed me pictures where her cat had not only licked all the hair off her front forearm it split the skin. Her vet told her something about chicken in the chow I believe it was, that was causing this allergy. She told me she tried this product and within 2 days her cat had completely My cat developed some kind of allergy where he licks constantly; not one place but everywhere. So I tried it and I am amazed that after 4 days my cat has almost completely stopped licking and seems much more at peace. The difference is night and day. I am so thankful for this great product that arrived at my door. So thank you Chewey for carrying the product that gave my cat AND me, peace. … more

Cat loves it and doesn’t throw up anymore
By Hollee on Dec 25, 2020
My cat was throwing up so much. She started to average 2x or so a week. I took her to the vet and they gave her a shot for nausea, some bland food to eat and some pills to help make mucus in her stomach and throat. She stopped throwing up for a little bit but went right back to it around 2 weeks after the vet. The food I was feeding her was turkey and chicken based. So I decided to go with something completely different to see if the food itself was the issue. When I opened the bag, her eyes lit up and she was so excited to eat it! Since then, she has only thrown up once, and I think it was because she ate too fast. This It is a great improvement and makes my life much easier haha

Picky cat will eat this!
By Olivia on Jan 31, 2021
My cat is so picky and has refused to eat several different brands of the limited ingredient dry food. This is the first food that she will eat! I only wish the pieces were a little bit bigger because she tends to just eat it a whole because they’re so small and doesn’t chew.

Thank God!
By Henry on Dec 11, 2020
I have a cat with a million allergies (chicken among them) who refuses to eat anything but dry food. I have tried at least 8 other dry foods, only to have him turn up his nose at them and steal his sister's Royal Canin Glycobalance (she's diabetic), which actually isn't good for him because of the allergies. He would only eat his own food when he got REALLY hungry and I was starting to worry I was starving him. But this stuff he will eat. It ain't cheap, but it's cheaper than the prescription LIDs, none of which address all of his allergies. And I'm no longer throwing uneaten food away. Thank you Blue Buffalo for saving the day, and my sanity. :-)

Works for vomiting
By CFlores on Jan 6, 2021
I bought this to try for my cat with skin allergies and all the cats are eating it. My 2 senior cats with vomiting issues have stopped and they all love this. My cat still has skin allergies but it’s only been 4 weeks. My hope is this will help but she still NDA medication.

Thank god! No puking, everyone likes it, and they're fur is super soft!
By Sara on Oct 7, 2020
I have an 11 year old male with IBD who is the world's pickiest eater, an overweight female munchkin with terrible skin/fur, and a long haired fluff ball of a boy. They have tried just about every dry food out there (seriously, I finally had to put a spreadsheet together to make sure I didn't end up reordering a food they didn't like). So happy to have FINALLY found a food that all three cats will eat, doesn't make anyone throw up, and is low in ash content. Bonus: Everyone's fur is super soft and shiny, and this is the first food that Big Kitty doesn't scarf down in one sitting- she's actually grazing like a cat- so less throwing up from her eating too fast.

Buffalo basics
By Cierra on Oct 14, 2020
My cats love this food! They’re actually eating way too much of it I have to pick it up sometimes. Have always been a fan of the Buffalo basics because it’s good ingredients. The price is definitely worth it. I have 2 cats and the 11lb bag lasts me about 8 weeks.

Corrected fur loss in my cat
By Sassysmom on Aug 16, 2020
My car started losing her fur for no apparent reason. The vets (I took my cat to two different vets) could not identify the cause. My cat was otherwise happy and healthy, but she kept losing fur, and the skin underneath seemed irritated. I tried different things, but nothing helped. I stumbled across an article that said food allergies can cause fur loss, so I looked for food with simple ingredients and found this. I also heard that cats can be allergic to poultry, so I got fish and potato flavor. I don’t know If it was actually the food that made a difference or if it was coincidence, but her skin cleared up, and her fur grew back. That was four years ago, and she hasn’t had a problem My car started losing her fur for no apparent reason. The vets (I took my cat to two different vets) could not identify the cause. Blue Buffalo Grain-free Fish Flavor Cat Food
By Julayda on Sep 6, 2020
At first, my cats would not eat this unless I mixed it with one of their other foods. I was surprised, as they usually like Whitefish foods. After about a week, they began to eat it unmixed. They still seem to prefer their other foods, though.
