  • Had to find replacement

One of our six cats has IBD and his digestive system is very touchy. He is 15 yrs old, an indoor cat, as are all our babies. He has been eating Nutro Grain Free Duck & Potato until it was put on back order. I researched a lot of other food and with the help of Abdul K. at Chewy decided to try the Blue Buffalo Basics Limited Ingredient Grain-Free Turkey and Potato Indoor Mature Dry and gradually have made a successful change that all the babies are now enjoying. I also received via US mail a very nice card from Abdul hoping all was going well for all and it is. Thank you so much for your GREAT customer service!!!

my cat used to throw up often and since I've switched to this food a few months ago, she hasn't thrown up once. although recently I find the dark colored "special" pellets laying on the floor around her bowl. so I've watched her eat and noticed she intentionally tries to eat around them! she is a picky princess afterall, and I suppose since they're the healthier bits they don't taste as good. either way she isn't throwing up so I'm happy and overall she seems to like it.

  • Didn't Work for My Kitties

    By on

This food didn't agree with my cats, and my cats didn't agree with this food. Compared to their last brand of food, my kitties had a more difficult time keeping this food down. Also, they just didn't enjoy the taste of it.

  • Good Eats For Me

    By on

My humans have been buying this for me because I am elderly and have a sensitive stomach. I must say Blue Buffalo Basics tastes good. My coat is shiny, I feel better, I eat less than the old stuff. My hairball "gifts" are few and far between. Glad my humans feed me Blue Buffalo Basics.

  • My cats seem to like it

    By on

Our two kitties have a sensitivity to chicken and this food has none. One of our babies is very very picky about what she eats and she seems to like this food, she loves turkey. So far, so good. And as always, customer service at chewy is the best.

  • Love this cat food

    By on

We have had our two cats on this brand and flavor now for about 5 years. We struggled to find a chicken free formula as our Bengal tabby has a chicken allergy which we discovered only after cleaning up after him getting sick numerous times. Our male cat is 6 years old and our female is 14, they both do wonderful on this food. Their coats are soft and shiny and they are healthy. Keep your cats gluten and grain free and they do much better.

  • Happy cat, happy owners

Our cat has a very sensitive stomach and this is the first food we have found that has worked well for her! She is digesting it well, not throwing up, and has an easier time going to the bathroom. We are very happy with this food!

  • Cats stopped vomiting by the second day

    By on

So far so good. The two cats who were constantly regurgitating their food have stopped. Don't know what triggered the problem; they had been eating the same brand dry food for years and then. . . . This Blue Buffalo "limited ingredient" is the 4th dry food I've tried with them, and the only one that had any effect, including another turkey based food advertised for cats with "sensitive systems". It was pretty amazing actually; they had been regurgitating almost every time they ate, but the first day on the Blue Buffalo only one of the two threw up and only once. The second day, neither of them vomited, and there hasn't been any trouble since. I hope it continues like this.

  • My cats love it!

    By on

I have been feeding Blue Buffalo Limited Ingredient for a few months now. My cats really like the Duck version but they went completely wild over the Turkey. I like that it has limited ingredients because 2 of mine have skin sensitivities and none of the bad stuff like wheat and corn. I highly recommend it.
