About BLUE Buffalo

Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

  • MY GUYS LOVE IT

    By on

I purchased both items for a friend who recently rescued a cat. I knew her cat would like both products especially the Blue Buffalo dry. The potato in the wet food entree makes it very creamy. Since my guys love it, I knew her cat would too and she confirmed it!

  • For the cat who got tummy trouble

We switched to this type of canned food because our friend, Simon the cat, has a very sensitive tummy. He always has a good appetite, but most cat foods give him the runs or make him very gassy. Since we have switched, his digestive system seems to be much happier, which makes us happier.

My three kitties all love this flavor. It is difficult to find something that they all will eat.

My cats have been eating Wellness but for some reason could not get this order from Chewy. One cat LOVES. My sweet 18 year old is “meh” about it but maybe she needs to get used to a change. As always Chewy is great. Delivered to my door and best prices.

  • Cat with allergies likes it!

One our my cats has a severe vomiting reaction to most foods. She has tolerated the dry version of this food for about a year, and so I thought it was time to try the wet version. She typically hates all wet foods, but after about 2 days, she was wolfing this up! She LOVES it. She now eats this wet food twice a day and the dry version only once a day. After a week on this new plan, NO VOMITING! I'm happy that she is eating food that doesn't upset her tummy, and she's happy that the food tastes good. Everyone is happy.

  • So far so good. Spent SO long trying to help my furbaby

My always healthy tortie cat started having horrible digestive problems seemingly out of the blue at age 5. She had a horrible vomiting spell that caused her to have to go into the hospital and then once she was stabilized she would throw up every single night around 3-5am. Multiple vets pretty much had no clue what to say after all the tests, and they always wanted her to go on their veterinary diets. I finally tried one and it made her sicker than any other food we had tried so we stopped that immediately. Pepcid and Prilosec would stabilize her for short periods but then the vomiting would start up again even with the meds. I did long trials of at least 8 different diets. Mostly wet foods My always healthy tortie cat started having horrible digestive problems seemingly out of the blue at age 5. Mostly wet foods (and even a raw food trial) since she had always been on kibbles and I wanted her to switch, but nothing helped and some made her worse. She won't eat home-cooked food. I found a Halo kibble for sensitive stomach that was the ONLY thing that worked. Until it didn't. She started vomiting again after about 6 months of doing well. So finally I found this limited ingredient diet. I'm still crossing my fingers for long term, but I figure that fewer ingredients must mean fewer possible allergens. So far she is doing wonderfully. She still gets a tiny amount of that same kibble that was working in between her main wet food meals, just so she can eat more small meals instead of just two big ones. So far it's done the trick for the past 6 weeks. Hoping and praying she is over this for good. I have a good feeling just because this food is the ONLY one that has made her seem like her old self after 18 months of this crap. Much more playful and happy. Even when she wasn't barfing before, she didn't seem well. So now this food is working magic with no meds. Very happy. … more

  • Blue Basics Limited ingredient, grain free canned cata food

I was fostering a stray kitty. I don't know what he was eating outside, but once he came indoors, he was taken to the vet for exam. I then began feeding him Blue Basics and he looked much better, and not to sound too gross but his litter was not as smelly after a week.
