I've fed IAMS to my pets for nearly 30 years now, and have never had a problem. But over the last few years, I noticed my older cats were throwing up a lot. This concerned me, so I searched for a sensitive stomach cat food, and found this food. One of the main ingredients in IAMS is ground corn, which is hard for cats to digest, especially as they get older. This food does not have any hard to digest grains. I noticed a difference in my cats as soon as I started feeding this food. My younger cats have stopped throwing up altogether, and my oldest teenage cat doesn't throw up as often. She still eats grass sometimes, which causes her to throw up, but I think she is doing that out of habit more I've fed IAMS to my pets for nearly 30 years now, and have never had a problem. • My cat is healthy again

    By on

I have a petit cat that never seemed to out in any weight. Over the last year she seemed to just keep getting skinnier and when I would pet her I could feel all of her spine. She would also groom herself so much she ripped out chunks of her fur. About two months ago I switched her to blue basics. She has already gained weight and I no longer find clumps of her hair all over. She looks healthy again! And my cats love the food

  • Excellent for your cat

This product was recommended to us by our veterinarian . Our cat was having adverse reactions to food prior to us trying this one. His GI issues are now under control and he loves this food. I highly recommend this food for the cat with a sensitive stomach.

  • Not for my cats, unfortunately

I bought this to try with my 3 adult cats suffering from allergies to see if it would help with their symptoms (skin rash and almost daily vomiting). None of my cats were thrilled about even trying it, but after a 3-day standoff, they gave in and started eating a little bit. Even now, they're only eating very little of it per day, but I wanted to stick it out to see if it helped them like I read in so many of the positive reviews. We're 2 weeks in, and they are still vomiting, although somewhat less than before. Rash is still there for now too. I plan to give it another couple of weeks, but so far nothing really positive has come from switching to this food.

Our cat has been on this food for two weeks now, and so far so good! His stomach is very sensative so trying new food is always worrysome. No vomit yet, though! We'll keep purchasing!
