About BLUE Buffalo
Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

Good Quality Kitten Food
By Susan on Oct 19, 2020
My rescue kittens were having digestive issues and I purchased this product for them hoping it would help and it did! It certainly pays to feed good quality food. They look forward to their feeding times.

My kittens love this
By Lisa on Nov 18, 2020
I started with the chicken flavors. My kittens are not so fond of that flavor but love this and the wilderness chicken and trout.

Well liked by my foster kittens
By navoff on Sep 10, 2020
I've been feeding this to a litter of foster kittens and it has been well received by all of them. I wanted to add some pumpkin to their food to help with the consistency of their poop. Not sure that it did much to help that, but they liked it and the ingredients were good, so I was pleased with it.

Solved our food sensitivities issues
By CatFosterMom on Jun 7, 2020
This made a big difference in my foster cat’s health. The Momma cat I’ve been fostering was having all sorts of stomach troubles. When we checked with our vet, they found no health issues but agreed something was wrong. I switched her and her kittens to this and have no more issues. They all happily eat it and then lick the plate clean. There’s additional flavors in the adult version to provide a variety of options as well. Thank you Blue Buffalo!

Good enough for the brand

I’m not a fan typically of the blue buffalo brand. However, the kitten liked the turkey

They didn't refuse it, but were not at all enthusiastic about eating this.

Kitten Food
By Norma on Jun 13, 2020
Our newest kitty is a bit finicky and I am trying several kinds to find his preference. He likes it. No leftovers.

Tired of chicken? Try turkey!
By dwhite46 on Jun 11, 2020
I’ve found most canned kitten food is chicken flavor. I feed my kittens a can of turkey here and there and they clean their bowls! Wish there was a little more broth, even gravy, but def loved by my babies.

Bland Taste; Pungent Poops
By Lauren on Nov 13, 2019
My kitten grew bored of this wet food very quickly. When I compared it to the food that her breeder sent her home with I understood why. Basics it lacks that organ-meat, mineral smell that animals love... Additionally, I'm guessing its the potato, but my poor kitty's poops smell AWFUL. As in, biohazard awful. When I mix it in with some tastier wet food she'll eat it, but I will not be repurchasing!

Kittens Gobble This!
By Milmel on Oct 16, 2019
Though I am trying to get them shifted over to mostly dry food, I can tell my foster kittens just wait for breakfast and dinner when they get to eat this stuff. They love it! I can't confirm if it actually helped firm up their stools or not because they got started on an anti-parasitic at the same time, but their diarrhea is definitely gone, and I think this helped keep their appetite up and is helping them grow at a good rate.
