My dogs love this brand and flavors. I mix the dry kibble with Blue canned food and a little water. They gobble it down right away.

Blue Buffalo basics
By mlb170 on Nov 15, 2021
I switched to Blue Buffalo Basics because my miniature Dachshund has a difficult time pooping, large, hard. The basic diet seems to help him, and he certainly like the taste. Still have to add a little MIRALAX to his food, but I certainly think his food makes a positive change for him,

I was buying the turkey potato but when that was out of stock I switched to this and my dogs love it better than former.

Disappointed
By Disappointed on Jun 17, 2021
I just opened this bag of dog food and my dog will not eat it. This is the first time I have bought this brand from chewy for my dog. Prior to I had gotten it from the pet store and had no problem. Disappointedly I'm going to have to throw this away and go to the pet store and buy a bag

Only dog food my dogs will eat!
By MBRF on Jun 5, 2021
One of my dogs has food allergies (to grain & chicken) so I only buy limited ingredient dog food for both of my dogs (they eat out of one another’s bowl). In addition, both dogs needs small kibbles, and this is the only dog food either of them will eat whatsoever. This is true, in spite of me trying to switch them to a more expensive brand of dog food (to a dog food that contained freeze dried meat) since they will only eat this dog food, if and when, I add a bit of freshly cooked meat and finely grated cheese to it (in which, I always do). But no complaints, because at least they do eat it, unlike numerous other dog foods. My dogs aren’t crazy about the smaller, darker “life protection bits,” but they do eat them sometimes (if and when they don’t pick them out only to strew them about all over my floor). We (my family and I) have spoiled these two dogs to a point they are extremely picky, and IDK what to do with them. This is due to us losing our much beloved dog (another shih tzu) at only 5 years of age, 6 years prior to getting the two we have now 1 1/2 years ago. … more

Dog loves it
By Lizzy on Apr 22, 2021
Because my dog was scratching more lately, thought to try grain freed dog food. After talking to a Blue Buffalo company consultant, decided to try the grain-free formula. The lamb and potatoes came and I immediately opened it and offered to my dog. She was very interested and ate it immediately. We are in transition from old chicken formula to the lamb and it is going very well. My dog loves it and I am happy to have this choice.

Great food alternative
By YorkiePetmom on Jan 14, 2021
This food brand works well for my dog who has sensitivities to many popular food and snack brands. I think it is one of the best dry food options for dogs with food allergies and might be the right choice for your pet.
