    My 3 dogs love it

By Pamm on Apr 7, 2021

All my dogs love it and I like the fact it comes in small pieces so it's easy for them to eat. All my dogs are 10+ years old. I'm really excited it comes in a bigger bag also. My last senior food I had to buy 4 bags because it only came in small bags.

    Dog wouldn’t touch it

    By CMH13 on Jan 11, 2021

My dog has never been a fan of hard food. She’s not one of those run to the bowl when she hears the bag type of dogs (unless it’s cheap, terribly unhealthy hard food), but she has never done anything like this. She’s not one of those run to the bowl when she hears the bag type of dogs (unless it’s cheap, terribly unhealthy hard food), but she has never done anything like this. She refuses to touch this food. I wrongfully assumed because it was Senior that it would be a little softer. She’s not a senior but she’s going on 6 & developing some dental issues. When she wouldn’t touch her food the first day, even though I mixed it with the food she was currently eating, I thought maybe she was having teeth pain. So I added some hot water & she did eat some. The next day I tried it again & she wouldn’t try it. Offered it without water but mixed with other food & she literally picked out the other food & left the BB in the bow or on the floor. Which is not easy for a Rottweiler. A few days in, I ran out of her original food which I expected to last longer due to mixing but since she wasn’t eating that didn’t happen, so I had to completely put her on the BB. No matter what I did to it, she wouldn’t eat it. She refused it for almost 3 days & resorted to stealing food off the counter or nosing through the garbage. I finally had to run out & get her some of the unhealthy cheap stuff that I knew she would at least eat. I’m hoping I can find something that works for her, but times are tough right now & other things take priority over gambling on a pricey bag of dog food that might make my dog refuse to eat for 3 days. Frustrating. … more
