I own a German Shepherd and he has had an allergic reaction to most food that I have tried feeding to him. It causes him to itch like crazy. The poor guy was missing fur in places and was miserable. I switched him over to the Blue Buffalo Basics Limited Ingredient dry food for large breed dogs and he stopped itching, but got tired of it and refused to eat it after about a month (picky eater, horrible combination with his allergies). I added the Blue Buffalo Basics Limited Ingredient canned food, and now he can't get enough. I also ordered Nupro from Chewy and have been adding that into his food to supplement his vitamins and minerals. These things added together have given him a very healthy, I own a German Shepherd and he has had an allergic reaction to most food that I have tried feeding to him. It causes him to itch like crazy. I started Ruger my 11 yr old Rottweiler on this canned food a few weeks ago. He had pancreatitis in Sept and was on prescription food. I slowly switched him back to his Canadae dry without issue but when I went back to the canned Merricks he got gassy and softer poops. Tried 2 others before finding Basic. He loves it, his poops are perfect, no gas. Great product!

I have a 5 year old German Shepard who developed some food allergies and was constantly licking and scratching. My vet recommended a limited ingredient canned food. I went on the internet and found Chewy.com. They are very reasonable with their prices so I purchased one case of Blue Buffalo and Cooper Loved It!

My dog has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency so her pancreas does not make digestive enzymes. Her diet has to be low in fat and fiber, moderate in proteins and carbohydrates. Blue Basic's Turkey and Potato is perfect for her! Thanks Blue!
