About BLUE Buffalo

Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

  • Skip the Hunter's Stew

    By on

Is there a minus one star? I started feeding my dogs Blue's Stews because they are highly rated on a dog food rating site. They like all of the varieties of the Blue's Stews with the huge exception of Hunter's Stew. My dogs took one smell and said no way. It stinks to high heavens and it looks disgusting too. It's sort of a grayish color. Yuck!! I am stuck with a case of these now. Debating on whether to just toss them or donate them to a food shelf in case there is a dog out there who will actually eat the stuff.

  • 67% Unusable

    By on

8 out of the 12 can were dented. These cans were obviously damaged BEFORE the case was shrink wrapped. Chewy sold me damaged cans of food. The cans are completely dented and creased, I cannot feed this to my dogs as they may be tainted. This is completely unacceptable.

  • Puppy Loves this Food

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I bought this food for my 6-month-old puppy. He gets it for lunch. He absolutely loves it. He is about 10 lbs and eats 3/4 can just for lunch. However, he is intact and very active, so he needs more calories than dogs that are spayed/neutered and/or couch potatoes.

The canned food is eaten readily by my poodles. . .but I would like it more if there could be two selections in every box of 12 cans. . . you asked. . .I responded!

  • Good Choice for a dog with allergies

    By on

Good choice for my dogs with chicken allergy. Food has good amount of protein and lower in fat. We mix with dry salmon grain free kibble.

  • Looked Great But My Dog Didn't Like It

I expected my dog to love this, but he wouldn't eat it. Nothing to do with the product, just his personal preference

  • Definitely recommend

Easy for my dogs to digest. They have isdues with other brands. It is a little pricier, but the quality is worth it.

  • Great for a Limited diet.

    By on Top 250 Contributor

My dobie can only handle duck and lamb. This has no chicken in it so a scoop of this with his basics kibble hits the spot. I always have some of this on hand.
