Your kitten is unique in many ways. The recommendations above are an ideal guide for most kittens. Your kitten’s needs may be different based on age, activity level and breed. Please observe your pet’s needs to adjust appropriately, and consult your veterinarian if you have questions. In their first year, kittens require two to three times more food than adult cats. At three or four weeks of age, kittens can eat moistened food, three to four times per day. After that, continue to feed dry food three to four times daily or make it available continuously throughout the day. And of course, it’s a good idea to keep fresh water in a clean bowl available at all times.

High-Protein to Help Cats Thrive

A diet rich with meat-based protein helps cats thrive, which is why 83% and 95% of the protein in Carnivora recipes comes from meat, poultry and fish. These ingredients are naturally packed with amino acids, which help build lean muscle in active cats.

Nutrient-Dense Organs & Cartilage

Organs and cartilage naturally provide a more nutrient-dense diet and provide benefits like joint and mobility support.

Perfected With Vitamins & Minerals

One important Carnivora difference is that it is perfected with added vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Even with organs and cartilage, cats need additional nutrients for a complete and balanced diet.

Free of Grains, Potatoes & Peas*

In the wild, animals consume limited amounts of grains and plant proteins. That’s why you won’t find any grains or potatoes in Carnivora. Plus, all Carnivora dry blends exclude peas as well.

*Ingredients vary by nutritional needs of each life stage and breed size
*All dry formulas exclude peas

About BLUE Buffalo

Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

    High protein, in kitten food!

    By on

Recently purchased a kitten, previous owner/breeder had feed a dried food, that was horrible plus had to feed chicken and add supplments to create a balanced diet. I've been changing her diet slowly to the blue buffalo Carnivora kitten dry. JUST read the 3 main ingredients, Meat!! plus there is NO PEA filler or Grains, a huge plus!!! Im having no issues with the switch over and the kitten loves it, The Cost is reasonable and I can see her coat and eyes looking better already!!

    Best kitten kibble EVER

    By on

Read the ingredients and then watch your little one devour it! Smile, play, nap and repeat. We just got a 3-month-old kitten and she adores this food. The competition has been stiff, as she came home with samples of Science Diet, and we have tried a few other kibbles. This is the one! Btw, their kitten wet food is also a winner, hands down.

    Great kitten food

    By on

Purchased this food along with the Carnivora wet kitten food. I mix the two together for meal time and the kitten loves it. I also leave this dry food out for free feeding through the day. Great product.

    my Sphynx loves it!

    By on

My Sphynx Luna loves this food! She took right to it like it was a treat. The kibbles are perfect for her little mouth and not too crunchy. She is transitioning from blue buffalo kitten to this one and she has had zero problems so far stay tuned!

    Purchased for ferrets

    By on

As most ferret owners know, some kitten foods provide better nutrition thnn some ferret foods, and also a few foods should be used in combination. I'll assume most ferret owners also know that ferrets are strictly carnivores. I use a mix that contains 4 different foods. I saw this food and read it's ingredients, and they are amazing for my fuzziest! Probably the best so far. I ordered it and they loved it! I haven't used it in their mix anymore then a week yet. I'm hopeful it does well by them, as im guessing it will!

Kitten does not like the food. It was also very crumbly, like the bag had been smashed.

I noticed my growing boy doesn’t eat much of this. I figured we would give it a try because it sounds great. Not his favorite. I’m glad i only bought the smallest bag.

    He loves it!

    By on

I started my kitten on a different brand but he wouldn’t stop eating my dogs food which is Blue. Once I switched him over to Blue he stopped eating her food. Meal times are much less stressful!

    My Ragdoll Kitten Likes It

    By on

My current 6 month old ragdoll kitten likes this food. He’s been on it for two months and still likes it. I was looking for a high protein kitten food that had mainly animal products as the main ingredients for my kitten and here it is.
