    like FROMM better

By atuk on Dec 25, 2019

my German Shepard was raised on Fromm but eats mostly real meat mixed with that kibble. thought I would try it for the protein but decided to stick with real meat instead. For owners that don't want to bother with real meat I think this might work better

Not sure it's worth the cost!

By JerseyGirl on Nov 8, 2019

This dry food sounds healthy and delicious and what I would want my dog to eat even though I'm not sure about this "grain free diet" thing going on. My dog doesn't like this any better then the Blue Buffalo dry food that is not grain free and it's less expensive, too. So...to sum it up...sounds yummy This dry food sounds healthy and delicious and what I would want my dog to eat even though I'm not sure about this "grain free diet" thing going on. Outstanding product

My Sheltie LOVES this food. It also meets the criteria for nothing in it that's "controversial" or potentially harmful.

    Finicky 10 month old

I tried other brands but my puppy just refused to eat. So I went back to Blue Buffalo and tried this Carnivora. He loves it. It is higher in protein than I like so I lower his intake and add broccoli, green beans, spinach and blueberries. Happy puppy, oh and it's Nov 1st Adam is 11 months old. Happy Birthday Adam!

    Reward treat for senior Boxer

    By on

Our 91/2 year old Boxer is still very active and loves to eat. We feed him a premium balanced dog food with grain, but he also loves and deserves treats for good behavior, so we we got this Carnivora to give him a little handful once in a while as a healthy treat. This food is also high in meat based protein which old dog muscles need to maintain fitness. He loves this food, and if he were a working ranch dog or a working sled dog, then I could see this being his main diet, but for a good old dog that gets above average exercise, this makes a great high protein supplement and doubles as a treat reward!

    Moist Texture, My dog loves!

    By on

So I'm super into making sure my dogs food smells and looks great. This kibble is super fresh & has a bit of moisture to it. At first I added it as a topper but now that I see how much she loves it so much we decided to feed her this mixed in to her food. She has been a lot more active as well as eager to eat. She is a rescue & sometimes will take a minute to eat, or wait for you to leave the room. We have definitely been seeing less of that. Thanks guys for this new formula!

My 7 non-picky dogs aren't trilled with this food

    By on

I only bought this food because Chewy had it for 25% off and I am looking for a food to switch to, after my dogs were doing horrible on the new Victor formulas. I have 7 dogs that are used to different foods and aren't picky. They did eat this but it was reluctantly. I was hoping this was more like the original Orijen formulas, before they built the KY plant, but it is not. The ingredients look good but the quality seems lower than it should be to me. I do believe this food is better than others out there, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, I don't believe this food is worth buying again and not worth the cost.

He likes it! He likes it!

My 3 year old Aussie loves this new food. He is a VERY picky eater--will flat out refuse to eat or flip his bowl if he doesnt like the food. After feeding Solid Gold Barking at the Moon Duck, Eggs, Peas formula for a year decided to try this high protein due to Solid Gold ingredients change. Expecting the worst I was pleasantly surprised. He loves it so much he will eat it from my hand as if the food were treat bits! The kibble is solid round uniform in size and color. His stool has been perfect - solid and minimal given his food intake so I know he's getting the most out of his food. And in the past, he has shown a sensitivity to chicken in everything but not with this. No goopy eyes ,loose My 3 year old Aussie loves this new food. Which is 2x as large in diameter and depth as the Solid Gold Barking at Moon. I tried uploading pics to show the comparison of both and him munching down but they won't upload. It's a tad more expensive than I normally would spend on dog food, especially for Blue Buffalo given their controversial history, but this is exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend. … more

    It was a Hit !!

    By on

I'm getting tired of picky eaters. I have two Yorkies and one Toy Aussie. I decided to try one more food, which is this one. Nothing added to it, to entice them to eat. These picky eaters chowed down, and didn't lift their heads until the bowl was clean. All I can say, is that I'm sold just after one meal..

    Truly Blue

My picky eater loves this stuff. I use it as a topper since a little pricey, mix with other Blue formulas.
