About BLUE Buffalo
Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

Husky love
By Hawkeye on Jan 24, 2021
I have been purchasing another food from a local store and it just seem to get worst as for as quality and it seemed to be drier than the last time and my dog diesel which is a husky would not eat it anymore. So since i get his dental treats from Chewy i looked through the dog food and decided to order this blue. It is so much better never dry, he really seems to Love it. He had stopped eating his hard food is the reason i started giving him the can food. But now he is eating his hard food again a little at a time, i have always left some in his bowl about 3 cups Incase he gets hungry during the day and he will eat a little at a time over 3 days. SHE LOVES IT!!!
By Lula on Feb 1, 2021
My senior rescue - 10 years old - shih-poo LOVES IT! And she's a picky eater!! I was so worried about nursing her to health and I am so relieved that she loves this meal - i love the ingredients in it and I don't mind the way it smells - I feels so great feeding this to her. I mix a spoonful of this with the Merrick senior dry food and place it on her lick pad (she has a broken mandible and cant chew!!!) she licks it right up and she seems so happy and at peace after her meal. I'm so happy I've finally figured out a healthy food cocktail for her that i can comfortable afford that is specifically for seniors and making her bones and limbs stronger. i seriously love caring for this dog because My senior rescue - 10 years old - shih-poo LOVES IT! So Far, So Good
By MomCat on Feb 20, 2021
My 11 year old 19 lb dog was eating his own "stuff" out of the yard. I had always fed him dry food, but he was no longer interested. I started feeding him this canned food and he loves it. I feed half-can in the morning and half-can in the evening. He still has dry food plus various Blue Buffalo treats during the day. Thank goodness, he no longer eats anything out of the yard.

Yes!! HE EATS IT!
By NicoleH on Feb 8, 2021
Our OES (10+ yrs old) was very recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. Within the week or so prior to receiving the diagnosis, he had gradually stopped eating his normal dry dog food, as well as most of his favorite treats. At first, we thought he was now just avoiding any foods that required much crunching/chewing (which he continues to avoid in most instances). But, then we couldn't even entice him with the ground turkey. Even after adding an appetite stimulant, he continued to snub most foods (we had also unsuccessfully tried a few other canned dog foods from the store). So, I visited Chewy's (for the first time, actually...) and started reading through various food reviews to see if anything Our OES (10+ yrs old) was very recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. So, I visited Chewy's (for the first time, actually...) and started reading through various food reviews to see if anything stood out. I ended up buying 3 different types of food, with the hopes that at least one would work. Of the three (all of which had numerous reviews of success with really finicky eaters), #1 (which actually looked/smelled like it should have been the most appealing) was a definitive no-go. #2 was a hit, but it's really intended for little dogs - so, I view that one more as a treat than a viable meal solution (unless necessary). But this one, #3, was a huge hit!! I do have to break it down from "can formation" for him first, but he actually ate two full cans of it yesterday. Although still below the recommended daily amount for his weight, I consider this such a significant win, since his snubbing of almost everything else has been quite depressing (and SCARY!) Added bonuses: It's targeted for senior dogs and it's NOT beef - which we've discovered has some very smelly ramifications! True - it's not as visually appealing as some of the others - which made me very hesitant to try it (the one he snubbed was 2x the cost & looked like human food). But, since his new aversion to crunchy/chewy hard, he's clearly more drawn to this "pate" style consistency. In fact, I conducted a side-by-side taste test for him with food #1, this one, and a bowl of freshly-made ground turkey w/beef broth. Hands-down, this one was the winner!! He didn't even touch the other two. I don't normally leave reviews - but, I am incredibly grateful for those who did as I searched for something our pup would actually eat. So, I'm sharing our story too, in the hopes it helps others in a similar situation. … more

My dog stopped eating food
By Dogmom on Feb 1, 2021
My 10 year old dog suddenly stopped eating her dry food. She wouldn't even eat human food substitutes. I needed something to feed her that was delicious, nutritious and soft. I ordered a case of the Blue Buffalo Senior food and she loved it!! I definitely recommend this food for any dog having a hard time eating dry food.

Revived my Senior Dog
By AnnieBB on Jan 25, 2021
I have always fed my animals dry food. But when my 12yr old dog refused to eat & was lethargic, I decided to test the ad for Senior Dogs. Immediately Pea started eating again. 4 days later she was no longer lethargic. A week later she was playing and running around again. I was floored so I started feeding Matilda my cat her Senior product. Just amazing!

My dog loves the food!
By Cookie on Feb 6, 2021
She loves the food, it smells good and has a nice appearance, unlike others we have used in the past. She has a sensitive stomache and has some nerve damage, so it's nice that there is glucosamine in the food to help her. A few of the cans were dented, which was a bummer.

She likes it!
By Lou1 on Feb 10, 2021
Have a very fussy 13 yr old Lhasa Apso. Was eating Blue Wilderness senior Turkey and Chicken grill. Then tired of it. Bought a can of the above and she has been eating it so well, ordered a case. So far eating very good. I feel it is very good product.

Good stuff!
By Wendie on Jan 20, 2021
I recently adopted an elderly dog who had been fed mostly table food. There are times when he gobbles this chicken dinner down enthusiastically, and other times has little interest. This may be due to his age or possible health problems. In any case, I am glad to see that it includes additives to help with joint pain as he is arthritic.

Trying something new
By Sunnysenior on Feb 4, 2021
My 12 year old rescue baby has gotten very picky about her food. I just got this so it is still new for her. So far she ate it right away. I hope she eats it and it will be good for her. She’s finicky but still overweight because she is so inactive
