Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Small Breed Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food

I have a 13+-year-old Pomeranian who is in the final stage of renal failure, and as a result, she suffers from nausea and inappetence. She does take medication to alleviate her nausea, but unfortunately, sometimes she still does not want to eat. It is often difficult to find a food that she is even interested in, and often she will eat a bowlful of food only to refuse it going forward. Luckily, she does seem to like this food. She doesn't LOVE it, but I think that is mostly due to how she feels. My dog absolutely loves this food and never seems to want to stop eating it. She always looks at me when she finishes her bowl as if she wants more. She never did that with her other food. I also love that there's no wheat in this, which for me having a gluten free house means I don't have to worry if I touch it.

We've loved Blue for years. Our rescue dogs have enjoyed it all their lives. Very healthy and no matter what formula you use, it'll help your animals live longer. A wonderful brand for sure. Read on their website for what other companies use in their brand, and you'll switch for sure!

Outstanding for our senior little chihuahua with NO TEETH. I first soften it with water than put it in my SMALL ELECTRIC FOOD GRINDER ON PULSE a few times and than she has "FRESH GROUND FOOD with ALL the BEST INGREDIENTS, Not like SOME OTHER CANNED DOG FOOD. SHE LOVES IT. We also JUST BOUGHT some of the YOGURT BANANA HARD TREATS & PEANUT BUTTER YOGURT TREATS and will use the same process to get HER SOME TREAT FLAVOR. Little EXTRA WORK, BUT, SHE IS WORTH IT.

My little dog has been on this dog food for most of her life. The only problem I have with it is the fact that she doesn't like the little, round dark pieces that are in this product. So, if I put it out for her I have to pick up those pieces that she leaves on the floor. To prevent this, I presort her dog food before I give it to her removing all those pieces she hates! She does very well on this food and I will continue to get it for her!

I ordered this food for my dogs as you removed the small bites of the Life Protection healthy weight. They liked it, but I noticed it was already adding weight to my little girls. So, I purchased the regular size Life Protection healthy weight food and broke up the pieces for them. Please reconsider making the small bites of the Life Protection healthy weight again.

My Morkie won't eat this even been hungry !! Bad Bad I've tried playing fetching the food for him to eat.. I even stop giving him his treats or anything else.. STILL NOTHING!!!! I mix his old food getting him started on this new one// BUT NOTHING has worked. He Prefers to even starve himself.. Really not sure why!! So be Aware? I do not know how to contact Customer Service here ?

My Rosabella is extremely picky about her food over the last year. She seemed to like the Blue Buffalo pate so I thought I would try the dry food also; especially since it is healthier than other brands. So far, she seems to like it.... It does cost a bit more, but she's tiny so it lasts.

My Aussie is such a picky eater and I’ve always had trouble getting her to finish all her food or eat anything at all, I’ve always had to soak the food or add PB or chicken stock to get her to eat. I was shocked when I put this in her bowl with nothing else and she ate it all and even wanted more, I’ve been feeding her this for a couple of days now and for the first time ever gets excited to eat her kibble, & I’m glad she decided to like a food that is healthy for her too!

Been feeding this to my dogs for years. Last few times I ordered there was some food clumped up in the bottom. My female dog was fussy about eating it, some days she would, some not so much. This last order of 2 bags, she won’t even touch. Been a week and she has refused to eat any of it. My male dog eats most of it, but he eats poop so... not sure if it’s the actual food, or the supplier or the dog. Bb date is fine, only strange thing with the food is the dry clumps. Never got them from buying locally. Guna try a new bag from town and see if they prefer that for some reason.
