I have 3 Frug puppies that are now 13 weeks old. They have been eating the Blue Buffalo puppy food for the past 10 days. They seem to really like it. We have not had any problems with digestion or skin rashes that can be a problem with these dogs. We are very happy with the food.
My puppy was having problems with the Purina Pro Plan so I did some research and came across Blue Buffalo puppy food. I'm SO glad I did! My puppy is digesting this food without any problems, has nicely formed stools, and is not vomiting up food any longer. This is what we will be using over the lifetime of our fur baby.
Have used Blue Buffalo in the past for years, but transitioned our new puppy to this food and she has had digestive issues since. Diarrhea every few hours. After switching back to a prescription brand, she was fine. Course the batch is bad, but sadly won't be using again for this pup.
Didn’t work well for my husky mix puppy, had lots of runny poop issues all night long while he was on this. Switch brands and saw immediate improvement. Not terrible puppy food but wish they had small sample size instead of just 30lb bag
We went on vacation and didn’t bring enough food so my husband bought this. We couldn’t figure out for 2 weeks why he got terrible diarrhea, because we thought it could have been anxiety or something he ate or drank at the mountains, but when we switched his food back, he was better in a day!
We chose this for our puppy’s first kibble because it’s what our breeder uses and recommends. The puppies reached a nice healthy weight and have lots of energy to learn and play.
My pup was on this food for a week and had diarrhea the entire time. After a trip to the vet for a fecal and finding nothing, we figured it must be the food. Switched to Purina Pro Plan and diarrhea cleared up almost immediately.
My puppy was doing fine with this and then after a month or so, she started getting diarrhea. Once I removed her completely off this kibble, she was doing better. It might just be a specific dog problem. The kibbles are good size, the packaging is fine, bag isn't full of crumbs. Overall good kibble if your dog can stomach it.
