About BLUE Buffalo
Blue Buffalo began with unconditional love and some furry inspiration from a large breed Airedale, Blue. When Blue's family started a pet food company, their vision was clear. They wanted every pet parent to be able to feed their pet with the same care they would feed family. So they created the #1 natural pet specialty food to help furry family members live happy, healthy lives. Of course, they named it after Blue.

I prefer to give my pug all natural ingredient products. This way I know what he’s eating and don’t have to worry about chemicals or things I can’t pronounce!

My dog will eat this.
By Kat39 on Sep 21, 2018
My dog got bladder stones at age 7. (Once she got them, I realized that she drinks very little water compared to her 3 “sisters”). Our vet prescribed Royal Canin SO Dry and I took a bag home. (And why not?...... he has an entire display of it in the waiting room). The vet tech said if she didn’t eat it, to bring it back, and they would exchange it for Royal Canin SO canned. Well, she ate some from my hand, and then would not eat it anymore. So back it went, and I purchased a couple of cans to see if she would eat the canned. She eats it, but I am disappointed in RC ingredients. The vet had me feed her nothing but the canned for a couple of months and during that time, 2 X-rays were done to see My dog got bladder stones at age 7. The vet had me feed her nothing but the canned for a couple of months and during that time, 2 X-rays were done to see if the stones had gotten smaller. He said struvite stones would start to shrink, and calcium oxalate stones would not. They did not start to shrink. So she had surgery, and the vet said she has to eat nothing but the prescription food for the rest of her life. My dog has always eaten Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight dry food. (Incidentally, a veterinary dental surgeon told me to feed my dogs dry food, after 3 of my other dogs had to have dental surgery to have about half of their teeth removed). My dog loves this Blue Buffalo. I am glad that it is for urinary care and weight management, and has nutritious ingredients. I mix this in with the canned RC right now (I may stop giving her RC canned and switch to the canned version of this BB), and I give her this kibble as her treat when I give treats to the my other 3 dogs. … more

So far so good for our dog
By JMPDX on Sep 13, 2018
Our 6 year old male Yorki's urine is too alkaline so we had to put him on a Urinary Diet. The Royal Canin prescription food given to us by our Vet to try, made him sick (occasional vomit and watery stool). When we returned to feeding him his normal Blue Wilderness chicken Grain Free food he immediately got better. To address his urine problem we decided to try the Blue Urinary Care Grain-Free and he hasn't had any problems after a week. We won't know if his urine improves until the next test which is 30 days away.

Diet food tasty? Must be
By JackRussellmom on Nov 2, 2018
My Jack Russell is recuperating from a ligament tear in her back leg. As a result of inactivity, she was putting on weight. I switched to Blue Buffalo Diet W+U and she gobbles it down. So glad she likes it!

So far so good
By MLS1 on Sep 2, 2018
My dog wasn’t doing well on another prescription urinary food. It caused her to be nauseous and shake. She’s already had bladder surgery for stones, but unfortunately we had to take her off of it because of the side effects. This food has the best ingredients of any prescription urinary food on the market - by far. She seems to be doing well on it. I tested her urine with ph strips, and it’s normally a very high ph. I tested it the other day, and it’s right where it should be. Here’s hoping this food works.

So far so good !
By Layla on Aug 25, 2018
Been using this food for about 2 months and my dog seems to love it! I was using Hills Prescription prior to this and I wasnt happy. Blue Buffalo seems to have better ingredients for my baby girl! I have a 4yr bulldog "Layla" who struggles with weight issues and UTI's. Hoping this food helps with both problems! So far we are happy!

Blue Natural 4 Piece Of Mind.
By LOHALLO on Jun 22, 2018
I've taken a lot of time reading ingredients from the competition. This has the best ingredients. It's as pricy as the others. Nutrition wise it's the best choice.. I use the kibble mixed with some wet. It's easy to say Gracie is a fan, since she gobbles it up. Thank you Chewy for offering Blue Natural.
