I have a 6 pound precious 15 year old baby that is a diabetic, liver problems, and other issues. Had read about Blue Buffalo Natural but could not locate it in my town. Hated to buy a case until Casey had tried it. But that was not to be, so ordered a case. (Dog rescue could always use it). But Casey loved it. It is low fat, mix it with Blue Buffalo Senior and Hills Prescription I/D low fat. He is in heaven. He has no teeth, after I put food in a blender, he feeds himself. Hasn’t done that in six or so years. Hopefully, I get to keep him another ten years.
This is not a bad review, but I have been feeding Royal Kanin and it is a stew-type of consistency. This is very dense and pasty BUT my doggie enjoys it so I will continue to feed, plus the auto-ship thru Chewy is a plus!
Hill's food has gotten very expensive, I'm attempting to cut down on spending, thought I'd try, Blue GI Low Fat Diet for my German Shepherd Working Dog. My dog is tolerating the food well and I will be splitting up the meals with this and HIll's. Thank you. N'
Switched to this after my pup didn’t do well on the Hills Prescription low fat food. We never had any further issues after switching to this. She loves it!
Our boy had pancreatitis in the past & low fat food is suggested. We mix this low fat with the regular Blue GI Natural Diet canned - half and half - along with the Hill's Biome dry... A little costly but worth it!
Lillie loves her new low fat food. It is tasty and helps her keep her slim figure!!
Even if I mixed this with a bit of water, she would not eat this. Must be tasteless.
Smells fishy. Dogs ate it once but ultimately prefer Blue Buffalo Chicken and Beef Pate (full fat).
Most dog food companies stand by their products not blue buffalo.I have had 2 inconsistent quality issues with their prescription foods( dry and canned) and they handled both of them rudely.Do not give your dogs this brand they are not a company who cares and their customer service is useless and unpleasant . The quality varies you can get a good batch and then a bad batch - I dont think they have quality control the way a big company like Purina does.If you have a dog that has issues like mine and you are using prescription foods try to find an alternative or get a brand that is responsible.Blue Buffalo is the worst
My little Yorkie is a persnickety eater and now being on a special diet, this is the only soft food she will eat.
