    Less tracking and dust

    I have asthma so I was looking for a more natural alternative to clay to reduce the dust and tracking and was mostly pleased with this product. My only complaint is that it doesn’t hold the clumps and they tend to break apart when removing them. I am now experimenting with adding a small amount of clay I have asthma so I was looking for a more natural alternative to clay to reduce the dust and tracking and was mostly pleased with this product. My only complaint is that it doesn’t hold the clumps and they tend to break apart when removing them. I am now experimenting with adding a small amount of clay to improve this but not enough to impact my asthma or increase the litter being tracked thru the house. So far so good. … more

    It clumps, but You have to be more gentle when sifting. There is dust, about the same as Dr. Elseys Prescious Cat litter which is pretty good. What I would like improved is the Smell Factor. I have noticed it is not as good at preventing litter box smell and I clean the box 3 times a day, every day. It clumps, but You have to be more gentle when sifting. I have noticed it is not as good at preventing litter box smell and I clean the box 3 times a day, every day. When I come home from work and walk in the door the smell is not so great-sadly. I don't want them to add smelly unnatural fragrance (cats don't like that)but perhaps a bit more baking soda? I am glad this litter exists, it clumps but doesn't hurt cats if they lick it off feet like clay can messes them up. I did not have to do transition process, they took to it right away. … more
