blue buffalo has ruined these
This used to be an amazing brand and all the treats they offered were great. I’ve been buying true chews since 2018. Since selling out to blue buffalo the quality and ingredients has changed. It started over the summer of 2022, shortly after the company sold to blue buffalo. The size and texture has changed too, these are now significantly smaller and harder then they used to be.
My dog's crack
I think my dog would sell his soul for these. Unfortunately after several months he began to exhibit symptoms similar to Cushing's. Constantly drinking water, excessive hunger to the point of waking me during the night to eat, increased urination, and pot belly. I had already cut back on this particular treat due to his obsession for it. We hooked that he needed a 12 step group. My vet did extensive testing that showed no issues. Next step was an ultrasound but I suspected these treats so he was cut off. After about two weeks he got back to being normal. Treats came in next shipment before I could cancel, he smelled them and went berserk. I decided to give him one and that night his symptoms started again. He got me up twice to go outside. I don't know why this particular treat affects him like this? I also give them to my Great Pyrenees and he is fine.

Chewy Delicious Snack
My dog Pluto prefers chewy snacks versus crunchy ones, and he loves these little nuggets. I don't have much to say about them, but the true chews brand in general he enjoys, including these.

I never worry about these treats. I do cut them Length ways, Prefect for little or big dogs. And I have chihuahuas, We all know how picky they can be.
True chews Pork chick and Sausage
My Daisy loves them. I have to break it into smaller pieces and only use half. But they are really good.

Dogs love them. Good size for occasional snack. Flavor keeps them begging for more.
