Addie Lynn, my miniature schnauzer, loves these! I've tried various "chews" without success. She'd "carry" them around the house, but never actually chew them That's not the case with this one....she eats them up!.....and gets the chew benefits!
My good old girl loves these as a basic treat. She'll be 15 in April and one of her big joys is coming up to me and wagging her tail. If I act as if I don't know what she wants, she'll nudge my hand and do her little dance which I call the two-step. She's relentless until she gets her treats. This is a good one and doesn't have any food coloring which tends to show up in her poo.
My baby is a picky eater. When I say picky, I mean picky. I once cooked him up his own sirloin steak to which he turned his nose up at. But these chicken jerky treats? He gobbles them down!
We noticed our Yorkie was having issues chewing her previous threats. She has lost her bottom 2 front teeth. She is 10+. We went to the pet store to find something soft but still a jerky form. These are perfect! Even better I can order them from Chewy now!
I treat my fur babies to these when I come home from work and when we are going to bed. They want to eat them so fast so I cut them up and feed them this treat so the excitement is always handing out one bite at a time. It's as if they are getting more snacks than one. They enjoy these and if they like them then I'm happy. I have been buying them for years.
My babies love jerky. The price of the one jerky I was buying them went up a lot so I quit buying it. I had some really disappointed babies when they stopped getting their jerky. I run across this when I was doing an order and thought it was a decent price for the size so why not? Needless to say my babies are thrilled to have jerky back in their lives. This jerky is soft and chewy. I am able to break it in half for my little dog. They are decent sized pieces. I did find some broken pieces in the bag but nothing to complain about. I have already ordered another bag. Hopefully the price will stay the same or close to what it is now.
I have purchased these treats for over a year and have been happy. My most recent order the treats were so dry my dogs can barely chew them. Will not buy again
I have a teacup and a miniature poodle, and believe me, they let us know when it's time for a treat. I used to give them the dried chicken on a rawhide stick, but I got tired of stepping on a zillion rawhide sticks around the house. So I started buying FreshPet DogJoy jerky treats, and they loved these, but they get expensive at $5+ per pack. Both dogs beg for these treats, so we're all happy now. I give 3/4 to my miniature and break the smaller portion into bits for my 14-year-old teacup.
My dogs have had chews from a number of sources. They don't seem to tire of these over time, nor do they seem want to eat too much or too many of these. So... they are the best treat I can give them -no fighting with appetites - too much or too little.
They smell just like chicken, my two dogs go crazy over these chews! Definitely one of their favorite treats!!
