Blue Wilderness

I've been feeding my Brussels this food since his birth seven years ago. I was concerned when I heard that the ingredients were changing. I ordered this via autoship and when it arrived I mixed 75% current food with 25% of the new food for one week. I then mixed 50%/50% for the next week and 25% old with 75% new. Now he is eating 100% new recipe. He has had no problems what so ever. I have been a customer of Chewy for years and believe that their products, pricing and service is wonderful.

Do not use

Been using this dog food for five years I have had no problems until they changed the formula., my dog developed diarrhea and reading all the other reviews I’m not alone with the situation. In the meantime, I had to change her diet take her to the vet I called blue buffalo told him my problem he took the code from my back, did not seem interested. The only suggestion he gave me was to give her a grain free dog food again I don’t know why they change the formula, when everything was good, I will never use another blue buffalo product again

Was worried…but it’s even better now!

I had just transitioned my one year old pup from Blue Buffalo grain free puppy to the old version of Blue Buffalo’s Wilderness (grain free) and then they changed the formula and I have to say I was really worried even looked for the old version in stores (if I could find it) before buying the new version from Chewy. But to my surprise, she loves it even more (if that’s possible) and most importantly it hasn’t affected her at all (stomach/intestinal issues) actually her potty time is even better than before the change, even when she was a puppy. This is my experience, Ellie Mae is young and adjusted very well. I hate to read the negative reviews and I’m sure it can affect dogs differently, I’m just glad I bought the new formula and gave it a chance. Ellie Mae loves it and I think the new formula is even better.

Stay Away From Grains

Both of our dogs ate the grain free version for years with no problems. Now with the change of the recipe, my dogs have diarrhea daily. I even slowly integrated the food using the last of the old recipe bags. In the future, adding a grain version or some new version of a specific food is fine, but discontinuing the food you have been making for so long with great reviews was a bad business decision. But I bet you know that already.

New Formula is Bad

Thankfully I read these reviews before taking my dog to the vet for Diarrea. I was feeding him the old formula with no problem. After receiving the new formula, within a few days, he very bad diarrea.

I was a loyal purchaser of Blue Buffalo for the longest of times but my dog is experiencing extreme diarrhea and sleepless nights due to pain from this new formula. Whatever has changed in this newer formulation, it has caused a huge disturbance to my dog’s wellbeing. Blue Buffalo can no longer be trusted!

Why won’t labs eat the new recipe??

After ten years of enjoyment my labs quit eating this food. The recipe change has caused loose stool, they won’t eat a full meal, and are left unsatisfied. Sadly, we will not be purchasing anymore.

New Formula

We have used this dog food for our four dogs for at least 7 years. The new formula has caused two of our four dogs to have diarrhea, in the house. Our pitbull and our bichon poodle have done fine, but are two French bulldogs have not done well at all. We are still giving it some time, since this is the first time they have ever had grain. I will not buy it again.

New recipe got my German Shepherd very sick

My German Shepherd has been eating this food without a problem since we got her as a young pup. Flash forward 2.5 years later now and Blue's new recipe had her throwing up on and off for a few weeks before I tied it back to the food. She was throwing up blood and after all vet bills, comes down to this food.
