Although not eaten with quite as much gusto as some other wet foods, both of my cats eat this pretty well. It takes a little while but, after about 20 or 30 minutes, it's gone. One of BB's best wet foods for nutritional value. Would recommend.
I have a very finicky eater and have been having problems finding a cat food that he likes. This one he likes!
My cat, recent rescue, loves all her food choices from Chewy but she seems to gobble this flavor up faster than the others.
I give my two male cats wet food in the evening, approximately 2.5 oz.each, so the Denali Blue Buffalo cans are perfect.
This is going to take a long time. Phoenix is very hesitant to try anything new; he’s only 16 Months old but even adding a little bit to his regular meal, takes him some time to try it and although he finished what was on his plate, it took him even longer than normal.
The 1st couple of times that I fed this to my cat, she loved it. But, she lost interest and won't eat it at all anymore... note that this is a common trait for my cat, I should know better than get a case of a food that I hadn't tried to feed her before
I’m always hesitant about introducing my cat to new food. She always seems enthusiastic the first time she tries it, only to find out that’s as far as her enthusiasm goes. Unfortunately, this is what happened with Denali Dinner. I was so happy to see her chow down , especially since I had to buy a case of 24 cans. Now I try to feed it to her once every week or two hoping to finish out the case. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
I bought some of this from the pet store. My cat liked it a lot. So I bought a case from Chewy. She wouldn't touch it. I figured the entire case was no good. But then I had similar problems with other foods and I was seeing differences depending on the lot number. So I went through this case and divided up the two different lot numbers. She loved one lot number, about eight cans, wouldn't touch the other lot number. Seems to be good food if you get a good lot. But I can't recommend gambling on getting a good lot at these prices.
My Girls will not eat the Denali Dinner. May I return it?
I took Riley in a year ago, neighborhood stray, thinking she was a little over a year old. My vet estimated she is 9, most of her teeth have been removed. Took a while to find something she would eat, I'd buy one brand, she would quickly get bored with it. She absolutely loves her Blue Wilderness food, all the flavors, she doesn't throw up like she used to, her coat is shiny and her eyes are bright, HAPPY KITTY!!!
