Spooky doesn't like it
I'm surprised he won't touch this food. Even if his favorite food touches this, he hesitates. I don't think this means it's a bad product, because I know cats are finnicky. But I can't even mix this with wet food he finds acceptable so I have to give this away.
great for sensitive stomachs
I have a cat, who has lost most of his teeth, that requires a pate. Since he also has a super sensitive stomach finding a pate he enjoyed in addition to not causing a vomit reflex has been difficult. Many seem to either be prescription or have a high amount of pea protein. While this one till contains pea protein, it's not overwhelming. Others he was not a fan of and I had to mix a bit of other pates in for him to eat. This one is not the case. He's excited for it. Outside of him eating too much (when he manages to steal other cats' food), there has been no vomiting episodes.
They love it!
I needed to change my cats canned food because they stopped eating the food they were on and were losing too much weight. I heard good things about Blue Buffalo so I decided to try it. They licked their dishes clean in minutes. Also bought the dry food snd they love it too.

This is the most incredible cat food and guess who's a finicky eater just like all the other cats especially as they get older. He's 16 years old or 18 we're trying to figure it out I got him when he was 3 weeks old LOL I'd rather he be 16 thank you LOL. Anyway, I tried every food possible and he would throw it up because he was diabetic the doctor finally said to try this particular food even this flavor that it would be gentle on his stomach and he could get the right nutrients in him and it had to be grain free.. it had to have 78% water... And only so much Ash. So this one fit the bill and I got really lucky and so did my Moe man. 👏👏😁🐾 He went from 28 lb!!, then was put on insulin, human insulin by the way,, (the only way that they can get off of the insulin.. just a hint for those of you out there that have diabetic cats ) if you have them on synthetic you need to get them off and chang over to human ..he has been off insulin for 2 years. He is down to 12.8 lb. He was way lower than that before I put him on this food and he actually was eating and not throwing up wow, and gaining weight ❤️🙏 he has been my companion cat since he was 3 weeks old and I bottle fed him I hope it will let me put two pictures. I'll put one when he's a kitten and one now if you look in the kitchen one if I could put it up, my finger is holding his arm .he's that small that he fit in the palm of my hand. All my love to all of the kitties out there Moe cannot eat the fish he throws it up and the Denali flavor has been discontinued and I have no idea why because that was the highest selling one they had and they've completely taken it off the market?? Maybe we should start up a petition lol? Good Quality Food & Cats Will Eat It!
I've been owned by more cats throughout my life than I am willing to confess to here. Currently, I have a half dozen -- four of whom are quite elderly (I'm catching up to them, too). My kitties are always 'stay-at-home' (inside) family members. Cat owners know, kitties are finicky eaters (just one of many of their charming traits). Dare you to buy a case of canned food -- inevitably they'll tire of it by the third or fourth can. However, Blue Buffalo's Grain Free Chicken Recipe (for mature cats) holds their interest for the long term. Occasionally, I'll supplement with something other flavor or type -- most often Blue Buffalo -- but I can safely purchase a case of 24 and know it will not go to waste. I trust the Blue Buffalo company and believe their products are a step above most in quality. Pets foods are tricky; you can never be sure exactly what goes into them or how they are handled at manufacturing. Just because a brand costs more doesn't guarantee they are better. I've purchased Blue Buffalo foods for decades, for my cats and my dogs, and have always felt they were nutritious, safe, and tasty. If you haven't tried this product, do so. I think you'll be pleased.
Very Tasty According to my Cats
Both of my cats LOVE this food. My cat, Boris, will get up on his hind legs and “dance” for it. I started feeding this after my cats had some digestive issues their dry food. So glad they are eating it!
Too expensive
I probably know what your reaction will be to this, but your prices have become too high, and I am already finding cheaper prices on the same product elsewhere.
I found the perfect food!!
I have an elderly cat rescue,require pate for their teeth and for the moisture content .Most are dense and not very wet. Therefore they’re not getting the hydration they need. Blue Buffalo Mature chicken recipe is perfect. Right consistency of moisture soft. The cats will eat nothing else.Yes it’s a little pricey but so worth it! I get the (24)5.5 oz. Cans. stays fresher longer.
My Cat Would Not Eat This Product
My cat eats a variety of wet cat food but she would sniff the food and would not eat a bite. We opened another can of the same recipe, thinking that the first can was bad, but she refused to eat that can as well. We tried another 4 cans during the next 10 days, and after she refused to eat any of those cans we through the remainder 18 cans in the trash.
