BLUE Wilderness contains:
Both types of diets can be a good fit. It just depends on the needs of your pet and your personal preference. Whole grains are complex carbohydrates that provide dogs with the energy they need to thrive. But if your pet has sensitivities to grains, you would want a grain-free option. Even Blue Buffalo’s diets with grains are made without corn or wheat — part of our True BLUE Promise. Instead, we use wholesome oats, barley, and brown rice. Both grains and grain-free carbohydrates are healthy and nutritious; we recommend talking with your veterinarian to decide which option is best for your pet.
While grains provide nutrition for pets, some people choose to avoid grains for various reasons. Grains are not common allergens in most dogs and cats, but if your pet is allergic to a specific grain or ingredient, you should avoid it. Blue Buffalo foods never contain corn, wheat or soy.
There are three main benefits of feeding grains:

About Blue Buffalo
The Blue Buffalo story started with a beloved Airedale named Blue, whose family wanted to feed him the best pet food possible. After searching for high-quality options, they decided to create their own food using natural ingredients, real meat first and only the highest standards. That promise still drives them to seek out the healthiest ways to feed and nurture pets, and it lives on every time you fill your pet’s bowl with BLUE.

To my knowledge the temperatures in Goodyear have been waay over 100° so if your pet's food is comming from the Goodyear Az location it is a very good possibility that the dog food has gone rancid if it have been on a truck, tarmack or wearhouse over 100° for more than an hour
This is the only dry dog food my dogs will eat until the container is empty. They will even eat pieces for snacks. It doesn't have a chemical smell like so many other dry dog foods. I mix the dogs' dry with cooked chicken and vegetables. They eat every single morsel. I don't believe that non-working dogs or older dogs should have high protein, i.e., no grains. Older dogs have delicate liver and kidneys so the high protein can cause liver or kidneys to work too hard. People have been fooled to believe their animals need high protein, but they learn quickly otherwise when their senior dogs develop kidney failure or liver disease.
I rotate several higher protein kibbles for my large bernedoodle. He has no issues with any of them except this newer Blue Buffalo product. Gastric emptying slows to a halt. Vomited I digested kibble at 10 am last eaten at 5:30 pm the day before. I’ll stick with my trusted brands, not this one. Throwing out almost the whole bag.
Recently noticed the ingredients changed and grains were added, in addition to a higher cost. Dog has been gassy for the past two months due to this.
