Our German Shepherd has a sensitive digestion system and chicken and or its by products cause itching, nasty gas along with diarrhea. Reviewing ingredients, I found that the majority of dog foods contained some form of chicken while Blue Buffalo Rocky Mountain Red Meat has none. She has no issues with this dry food. She likes it; will eat it dry or moistened with a little warm water. We eliminated the loose stools and gas when we switched to BBRMRM. We will continue with Blue Buffalo as long as she continues to tolerate this dry food.
GSD like this but developed breathing and itching. It one of the few beef without chicken but something else is causing issues maybe the peas.
Noticed a big Change in my 2 Dogs Eating Habits and Stools are no Longer Loose
My dog is only 1.5 years old and acts like it. She does not like the adult food, no matter what flavor I get. She had no problem eating the puppy formula of blue wilderness, but the adult formula sits in the bowl aaaallllll day. Guess we'll wait a while before trying it again.
My son has been having problems with his two Standard Poodles. One of them was constantly having stomach issues and itching. He switched over to this brand and red meat. What a difference . He was allergic to poultry. Still have to be careful because there's always some kind of chicken this or that hidden in red meat dog food. I bought two of these dog food as christmas gift for the two dogs.
I am very happy with the dog food I purchased. I’ve noticed a positive difference in my dog’s energy level and alertness. I really like the auto ship discount and not having to lug a heavy bag around the store
My one year old German shepherd has been eating science diet since we brought him home at eight weeks. Recommended by our vet. Gradually he become less and less interested in the kibble and would only eat the raw diet we feed him. Someone recommended this brand and let me tell you, he now runs to his bowl to chow down. He loves it! Bags are smaller and pricier, but so so worth it!
Been looking for a brand of kibble my 2 German Shepard’s would eat. They have been picky eaters since the start. Not only did they eat this they would get excited about breakfast time. Definitely worth the cost knowing they love it and I get the peace of mind being a quality product. Try it, I am sure you won’t regret it.
We have 3 dogs so we ordered 2 big bags of this food. All three of my dogs refuse to eat it. They normally rush to the bowls to eat. Now they will go a day without eating until they are starving before they will touch it. If it was only one or even two of the dogs I would say it was just them being picky. But all 3 dogs hate it.
The dog food seems alright, but my dog spits out the smaller pellets.
