It's Fish for dogs

I like to mix Meat products with fish products for my dogs. OK then, if it looks like, smells like, tastes? like all the other dry food I get, then what's not to like. It's like does my dog eat it...YES; does my dog get sick from it...NO; Do I know if my dog benefits from it.....NO; HUmmmmm, kinda hard to judge it then.....so...the bag didn't break....what's not to like?

We've fed our 2 Aussies and 1 Yorkie/MinPin Blue Buffalo for years, occasionally rotating varieties due to availability or to save a couple dollars over other flavors. All 3 love the Salmon flavor, and eat all their portions at meal times. While they may have a little fishy breath after, the Omegas in the Salmon make their coats so soft and shiny.

caution for switching over

This is good dog food. Just a precaution, when switching over food brands don’t add wet food on top or mixed for the first few days. We did this and both our huskies had runny poop. Might’ve been too much for their tummy’s but they got better once we stopped adding wet food. Now we add wet food every other day and just a little. Maybe it was too much protein too. Well I autoship this 24lb bag and my two huskies eat it all. They’ve always liked fish. Some dogs might not like the smell of fish. Huskies naturally eat fish from Siberia so it explains why they eat it.

My sheltie-beagle Mix loves her salmon recipe grain free food. She used to be constipated from eating other name brand dog food but not with this one. She goes 2 or 3 times a day with this food. I love that it has vitamins and minerals for her body as well. I am going to keep getting this one dog food from chewy.com

I recently decided to try this food for Sadie. I'd been trying to see about going healthier and grain-free for her but just didn't know which food was best. After doing some research and reading all the reviews, I chose this one. I opened the Chewy box and immediately it was like she knew there was something for her. I could barely get the bag open, she was so excited! The transition to it was so easy (she was eating only it out of her bowl). She used to leave food in her bowl, but that's not the case anymore. Clean bowl, firmer stools, no upset tummy..... I'd call that a winner!

We have three labrador retrievers. One boy lab that will eat anything and bring his bowl to you in his mouth. We have two female lab that are very picky eaters. At Sumte we have three labrador retrievers. Sometimes the female labs won’t eat their whole bowl of food. We decided to give the dogs a change of diet and taste. They love the new salmon formula from Blue Buffalo that is grain free. Now, the too picky females will finish quickly and often walk to the other bowls just to be sure there’s none left. We have been feeding our 15 year old lab Blue Buffalo grain free formula since age three or so. I believe it has helped her longevity!
