3M reflective thread is stitched into the material.
Neoprene webbing is sturdy and water resistant.
The harness does not stretch itself – a properly fitting harness won't leave any room for your dog to chew.
Looks great with the marsala red Jacquard Padded Dog Leash.
To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.
My "senior" dog hates her step in harness. we have been using it for years no problem until recently. over the past few months she has grown more and more itchy while wearing it for some reason. She scratches around the armpit area so I was thinking maybe that is the problem, though I am unsure. She only wears the harness for walks and car rides, if we stop walking to talk to our neighbors or whomever, she will start scratching at it.. which makes it look like she has fleas - which she does not - so it is a bit embarrassing. There aren't many different harness designs on the market right now, I was looking for one with a back clip that doesn't rest in the armpit area, this was all I could findMy "senior" dog hates her step in harness. we have been using it for years no problem until recently. over the past few months she has grown more and more itchy while wearing it for some reason. There aren't many different harness designs on the market right now, I was looking for one with a back clip that doesn't rest in the armpit area, this was all I could find in my budget. My dog is very well behaved, very obedient, can walk without a leash, etc, so the loose fit of this harness is OK for her. But if your dog is "bad" / escape artist, this isn't going to work for you. The strap that goes across the front of the chest is not adjustable as the design is for the belly strap to be further back around the narrower bit of ribs and not in the armpits. That belly strap is adjustable, however the correct size for my dog was unavailable, the size I got is just a tad too big - because like I mentioned before, the belly strap sits further down on the dog, more across the ribs, so the barrel measurement of the chest, would be inaccurate, you must measure further back. The reflective aspect is pretty good. As a redesign I would add more padding to the front chest strap, and add handle padding to the "d-ring" strap / leash attachment area on the back. This is interesting because it's not a typical d-ring, it's actually a thick o-ring that is not in a fixed spot, it freely slides across the whole back strap, which seems more like a handle but without any padding. I like that they decided to make this strap so long because this feature isn't common on step-in harnesses, if you have to grab your dog by the harness youre typically grabbing for the top of the shoulder which normally is where the buckle is.… more

I love this harness! It’s very easy to put on, and lightweight. It’s not cumbersome for my dog, like most are. It will be great for summer. Will purchase another one soon.
Perfect for elderly dog

I have tried so many harnesses for my elderly dog who was trained to be leash free when he was young. He has since lost his hearing (age 16) so I have to leash him for safety. Every harness would cause him to sit due to restriction. This harness has changed everything. It is very easy to place on him and I love that I'm not being forced to control him by his neck with a collar. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a simpler way for a harness instead of a collar.

If your dog is even close to the size up it sits so close to their front legs that it affects their movement.
Fabulous, long lasting, easy to use harness.

This is not a step through harness and is very easy to put on your dog. You just drop it over your dog's head and fasten it around their chest. Easy to put on even a wiggly terrier mix. My original two are now 4 years old and still in good shape- I use them daily and they have been to the beach. They have been hard to find in the past so when I saw these, I ordered two more. They hold their color in addition to not fraying. Good materials used and it is a well made harness that is easy to use.
