Nutritional information listed by chewy is WRONG

By KerboTx on Jun 8, 2020

I was very careful when I reviewed the product information for this feed because I wanted to avoid cane molasses, which can be found in this manufacturer's layer feed. My chickens don't like molasses, I consider it a cheap flavor additive, and it can give some birds runny stools. When I opened the bag, it clearly looked like it had molasses in it, as it looked EXACTLY like the yucky layer feed crumbles. Attached is a photo of the feed tag off the bottom of the bag - cane molasses is listed right there on the 2nd line of ingredients. The tag is actually quite different from the info listed by chewy... The crumble size is too large for just hatched chicks, but I usually offer wet mash as often as possible at first, so maybe I can get around that, too. From what I've seen, Bluebonnet Feeds is a cheap brand, and I will not buy it again in any form. … more

My chicks are always so healthy

By LRLco on Jul 17, 2020

I've used this BB chick starter for 4+ years. My customers are always impressed with how my chicks look, especially compared to what you see in the chain feed stores. When I compared this tag to other national brands, it made it an easy choice. That guaranteed analysis is packed.
