Exceeded expectations
My kid was gifted 2 from my friend to replace her bulky standard tanks since these stack. Screws, stacking pegs, and sealant were all included. I thought these would be sufficient but nothing to write a review about but here I am. We installed 2 radient panels in each; a primary and a back up that we keep unplugged should we need to supplement for the lowered temp of the room during an outage (she has her own back up power pack specifically for the animals). We also attached a rechargable magnetic light panel inside. Temp/humidity management has been a piece of cake. Definitely a LOT better than I had anticipated.
Great Enclosure
Very easy to put together and set up. I swapped the doors out for glass doors I had from a previous enclosure - the included doors (acrylic plastic) collect a lot of dust and suck out some of the humidity through the vents. There are a few holes along the top back of the enclosure to thread in wires for heating elements and probes, and the enclosure itself holds humidity and heat well otherwise. The built-in thermometer/hygrometer is nice for monitoring ambient temps. Overall I really like it, and my ball python seems to approve!
Pretty cool
Once it's all together it's pretty cool, dark though, figuring out lighting and heating was/is a bit of a challenge, and frustrating. But for the price it works out. Once I figure out how to safely light it I will consider if I should have just paid more for an enclosure that had that part already thought out, or get another one for stacking reasons. Can only stack more of its type, so I'm hoping I can make it all work. I loved that it was not a two month wait for it like most other stackable enclousures, I received it within a week, and it's a fraction of the cost of others of this type.
Nice enclosure!
I was hesitant in buy this terrariums, heard and read lots of comments and reviews, some good, some bad. Despite all the bad things I read about this enclosures, I decided purchase a couple of them and let me tell you, I loved them, they are pretty sturdy, good and nice looking. 2 corners were damage in the shipping but I just put those on the botton back of the enclosure. It came with easy to follow instructions, all the screws and a glue to seal the corners.
Boamaster cage
I loved it. The price is great for what it is. Real simple to put together took like 10 mins. The only thing I wish is that it was a bit taller. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
Cage sliding doors
The doors are easily to knock off an busted the sliding rail for the door my 6month old ball python got out took both doors down if you buy this cage make sure you find a better way to secure the doors from being knocked off or broken.
Snake cage
Two pieces where too long and no vents on back. Had to cut and modify the two pieces to make them work. The first one i ordered was perfect, second one not so much.
Okay for the price
The package came in pretty beat up despite having a fragile sticker on it. The whole inside of the box was covered in pvc shavings and metal shavings. I made the mistake of not wearing gloves and got alot of it in my fingers. Doesn't come with instructions, I had to look them up on the Boamaster website. Some of the edges were chipped or bent, and the pieces were scratched or peeling the shiny coat off. You get what you pay for.
great cage
A lot of people write a bad review that it came chipped and stuff? In my experience no. At first I did think that but it was just the plastic that was easily removed. One of the easiest cages I’ve ever built literally just slides in and screw it together.
Amazing enclosure for snakes
I have 3 of these enclosures and nothing can compare to the exacting specifications that they help me maintain for my beloved pet snakes. I have mine done up as naturalistic enclosures and get to enjoy my babies behaving as they would in nature.
