Not for sensitive tummy's
Hello, I recently purchased these and thought they were bully sticks, but they are wraps. I noticed right away that the wrap peels off in tough, sharp looking pieces and I was very worried about that, so I took it away from my dog before he even finished half of one. He vomited a couple of times the next day with little bits of blood in his vomit. I am very carful about what he eats, so I know it wasn't anything else. Thankfully nothing worse happened, but if you are worried about rawhide or other compounds that are known to be bad for dogs tummies I would stay away from this one. It didn't seem as tough as rawhide but it did not look easy to digest.
Disappointing and worrisome
Kicking myself for not listening to the negative reviews. As stated by other buyers, this is NOT a bully stick (bully should be removed from description), the product breaks down into shards and is ridiculously messy. My 24 lb dog ate nearly all of it in 3min and after seeing what was left of the treat I spent the rest of the evening worrying that he might have swallowed a sharp piece. Needless to say I have thrown out the rest of the package. The mess was also beyond anything I could have imagined and I did not find it easy to clean up.
Not as advertised
Was expecting a long lasting bully stick that would keep my dog entertained and chewing. What arrived is a crumbly bar wrapped in a thin layer of "bully stick" material. My dog finished a whole stick in less than five minutes and it left the worst mess of crumbs on my carpet. Not worth the money at all.
Very Messy
These make a mess all over the place. The outer wrap breaks apart and when you accidentally step on it you get that wonderful feeling you get when stepping on Legos. Ouch!
Dog Love It, Messy But Vacuums Up Easily
#ReceivedFreeProduct My dog loves water buffalo bully wrap. He took it immediately and went into the other room with it when I gave it to him. I put him on a towel because I knew it was going to be somewhat messy. The outside of the wrap peels off in strips but he didn’t seem to have any problems eating it. The inside crumbles and he had it all over the towel that I had him on. He isn’t always the best crumb finder but the pieces of it that ended up on the carpet seem to vacuum up easily and I didn’t notice any residue on the carpet after. They chew didn’t seem to last very long, so if your pet is an aggressive chewer, this treat may be eaten in just a few minutes. The smell is pretty strong so if odors bother you, make sure to put your pet in an area away from you. I feel like this is a good treat for a pet on occasion.
My dogs love these
I cannot handle the smell, but my dogs think these are amazing!! They do leave a bit of a mess but my dogs will come back and clean that up.
Dogs enjoyed them but they were smelly
The dogs really liked them, but they were smelly when chewed and the tiny pieces of the stick got everywhere. I think they would be best suited to be chewed in a particular area dedicated to chewing smelly and messy chews ;) but the dogs had no complaints about them ;)
Not what I thought they were
I thought these were pizzles like other brands, however, they're a outside skin like product with a filling of whats looks to be some grain and other things. They say, "water buffalo steak" but I have no ideal what that is. It goes on to say, "this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces." It didn't get a chance to do that. I threw them away. It makes one heck of a mess.
Great product
#ReceivedFreeProduct I got these in the mail, and the dogs were already going wild! After I fought off the dogs, I was able to open the package. Wow! The Bully Wrap Dog Treats were HUGE! I had to cut them into smaller pieces for my dogs to enjoy. They enjoyed the water buffalo. It took them some time to break apart the buffalo hide and get to the tastier center. This is a great product to buy if your dogs are well behaved; if they aren’t, you might have to fight them off!
This is NOT a bully stick!! Done in 3 min
My 70-lb Boxer mix who is a strong chewer was done in 3 min. I was so hoping for at least 10 min. He’s very picky with bully sticks. Not worth the money for me. And needless to say he drank a full bowl of water when he was done. Hopefully his digestion will be fine.
